1. I kind of am. Vote me ruler of the galaxy and I'll show you!
2. As the CRL is written today, there's nothing I can do about it.
3. Here you go: http://www.angrydogstudios.com/?page_id=109&g2_itemId=11722
4. Thank you. If you can, dont put the coverstrip on top of the existing seam of the overlap. Best is to trim that ridge off and then do the coverstrip. Adding a cover strip on top of the existing ridge made by the overlap makes it too bulky.

Sent from my GT-I9300
5. Yes, I'd like you to replace the D-ring. Since you are a first for centurion with fx armour it's important that we make it right, since it will be a precedent. So I may need a long time to evaluate, and I need you to be patient and to work with me. Or else we risk spoiling the centurion program. What I'd also like to see is arms and legs (except shins) glued shut. No velcro openings. Preferably with coverstrips instead of overlap.
6. That's great, but it isn't an accurate D-ring. The real D-ring is more 0-shaped.
7. Fix those things before applying instead. That way I can know that I'm looking at a finished product and can review it easier.
8. TE2 HIPS kits are about 2 mm or 0.08 gauge, the same as AP if I recall correctly. The thing with HIPS is that it contains less rubber than ABS, and keeps it's form better when cooling down, compared to ABS that likes to "flex" back a little when cooling, requiring a more constant vacuum to keep it's desired shape after it's been pulled over the mould. This means that HIPS is easier to pull with high detail since it doesn't flex back as much, whereas ABS requires more skill and better equipment to retain sharpness. At least that's what I've read.
9. While the FX can be modded to look a whole lot better than it does out of the box, I don't think there's anything that can be done to make it look good enough for centurion. Everything is off, and no amount of modding can be done to change that.
10. Use an external image hosting service like photobucket or imageshack. Then use the tags to link the images to the post.
11. There is a link somewhere. I have the tab open at my home computer, but I'm at work now. I can send the link later if you haven't found it yourself by then.
12. There is a bunch of threads with pictures and links to more pics in the "field training exercises" section.
13. Agreed.
14. I'm working on it, but it has to be approved in a detachment vote. So it hangs on you guys.
15. If you respect the centurion program for what it aims to be rather than just to get a badge, I suggest that you don't.
16. I will have to put a word in here though that FX is in my mind way too inaccurate to be worthy of centurion, and the only reason I'd ever approve one is if my hands were tied, and I'd require some heavy modifications to even consider it.
17. I should also suggest you glue those handguards down better. They are supposed to follow your hand as it flexes, not just sit stiff on top like plastic, glue the forearms shut. Don't velcro anything but the shins, and replace the T-track.
18. Just finished Neuromancer. Great read!

19. Dang it. Anyway, fixed and thanks again. Getting late over here...
20. Sorry I missed this one John. Looks good! What I could suggest is to trim off more of the bottom of the chest and pull it up, trim some of the return on sides of the knee plate, paint the rivets on the knee belt, paint the ear screws, and shorten the crotch strap to pull your butt in a bit for less tail. Approved.
21. Search youtube for casting videos. There are lots of them. You'll need moulding silicone and casting resin.
22. You will have to wait until the next run of patches. Then you can buy as many as you like.
23. Also, try to find a way to cover up that logo in the back of your undersuit.
