  1. Best is to just avoid them by thinking ahead.
  2. If you imagine the armour built on this forum as 100x better....-------------
  3. I think you printed those too large. They are obviously too big on your helmet.
  4. Very good!
  5. If you weather it appropriately and create an EIB thread for that, then yes you can have that. But that effectively ruins your stunt-costume. Unlike popular belief, the HWT and Stunt are not supposed to be interchangeable.
  6. Of course there are other factors to consider than only the height.
  7. At 6'2" you can still fit nicely inside other kits as well.
  8. Didn't you get any sheets of space plastic? You're supposed to cut the strips from those sheets.
  9. It's not required, the armour holds up just fine without it. So if you would add any inner strips, the thickness would not matter either.
  10. While I recon that VT helmets are decent, and I know where Martin is going with this, I feel that it's better that he doesn't PM you that information and that you take a chance with one of the non-recaster helmets. It's hard to get a sharper helmet than TM and RS for example. Worth every penny.
  11. I wish it had been easier to spot in the earlier photos so you didn't have to take off your knee place once again. And I'm not going to force you, but if you want, you should take it off again and trim the edges of the knee plate so that they don't temper out, but end in a 90 degree angle, like this: You do as you wish, and I'll hope that ATA some day makes a marking or something how to trim the knee plate properly. This is a very common thing with people's ATA knees. Approved.
  12. Accurate clips are 1.8" so the ones he has now is not that bad. But since it's attached to an AM TD it will never be really accurate either way. Jim, all things considered, the only thing I can recommend is to maybe remove some of the "wings" of the chest piece that wraps around you chest, and an upgraded TD would be a nice gift to yourself for christmas. Approved.
  13. Great pictures guys. On the topic at hand: Just don't do it.
  14. You also can't apply for centurion twice. You already have your stunt request. Sent from my GT-I9300
  15. That's a pretty good method. I'm using something similar.
  16. True, I agree with taking the shoulders inwards a bit. But now I'm happy with the snap and you are now approved!
  17. Wear a belt inside your armour, over your undersuit. Hang your thighs from that belt with elastics.
  18. The only curly wires I've seen have been from promo pictures, so I'm not too sure of their legitimacy as "screen accurate".
  19. You certainly are doing something right! There is also this picture where the wires aren't curly at all.
  20. A garrison mate of mine had to wait 14 months for his ATAT armour, so 18 weeks is nothing in comparison.
