  1. This is the double holes you're thinking of? I checked for myself and grabbed a snapshot.
  2. Availability of accurate and decently priced boots mainly. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Scuffed boots would also be approved. It's changed to safeguard against the two extreme cases where the boots could be very worn but the armour spotless. Or the other way around. Common sense will prevail. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  4. It's not affecting EIB or Centurion. As long as you do it well.
  5. I have some suggestions for making this even better. In picture 1, you have what might be the undersuit coming out near the shoulder, try getting a tigher undersuit that doesn't do that, or if is a strap, secure it better to stop showing like that. Shorten the holster straps. Not by so much, but maybe a few cm's. ROTJ troopers had both long and short holster straps, but this is on the extreme end of the spectrum. In pictures 2 and 5 you can quite clearly see how strange the thermal detonator is attached. Like it's not pushed down far enough. Don't wear it like that. Maybe it's just a a thing you forgot to check when putting on the armour, but since this is supposed to be a review, I would expect people to put up their best pictures, and to dress carefully and make sure everything is "perfect". With that said, you do check all the requirements, and are therefore approved!
  6. Except that guy has a stunt helmet, but Luke walks out in a hero helmet.
  7. AP's are the most known kind the have it. It's kind of their signature mark. Best to leave it in unless you know what you're doing. You might risk damaging the helmet otherwise.
  8. That's how I see it. It might be on screen, but that doesn't make it right. If you are replicating a specific trooper that is a different story, but that is outside the scope of 501st.
  9. I've talked to the guy and he's going to try to provide proof that it's not recasting. We'll see what happens.
  10. Good thing we have close up pictures of the stripes under more normal lighting conditions then.
  11. Yes. This is a good tutorial on how it can be made better. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22497-howto-align-tube-stipes-on-your-helmet/
  12. Thanks! Will you do anything about the tubestripes? I think that may be the only problem I can see right now.
  13. Looks like RS to me. Kind of disappointing, that guy made some pretty cool rubber E-11 hyperfirm alternatives. Edit: Actually reading his description he says it's made from an original, so it cannot be other than RS.
  14. Well, it's not automatic automatic like the EIB page kind of is. I still have to run a script with your info to generate the image. But it is really the only way to do this in a timely manner. It used to be a guy sitting in photoshop and emailing the certificate in PDF form. While that may seem more genuine, it's just not feasible for one guy to spend that much time doing the same thing over and over again.
  15. Some, but not all had it, or not very noticeable anyway.
  16. We've automated the process, so yes... It's pretty fast now.

  18. I knew you could do it and the way it is now is much better! Just toss some white paint on that thigh belt rivets and sand the curve smoother. You might also want to raise the drop boxes a tad. Approved!
  19. Poor guy, always gets picked on!
  20. I too realize that some of the positions varies, but I don't think that they were done that way intentionally. Thus, replicating a mistake is also a mistake. I see this as the same thing as "Mr No Stripes".
