  1. It could certainly be said so. But you don't have to use those for functional strapping like the originals. Same thing could of course also be argued about the screws. Those however do affect the armour durability in a greater regard than the side and crotch rivets. Anyway, on a personal level I wouldn't mind requiring the screws. I'm just saying that a lot of people do mind, so don't hold your breath. And like I said, there's nothing wrong with building to a level above what is required.
  2. It's unlikely since that enforces too much control over what goes on on the inside of the armour, which was never the goal. But rest assured that it will never hinder you if you make it even more accurate.
  3. The cleanup is easy to take care of with an archiving rule that I've just put into place.
  4. I can't make any promises that you will get added to a vetted vendors list. But since your original thread wasn't deleted either (only archived) I can say that it is very unlikely that any new thread of yours will get deleted.
  5. The way I see it is that if you really can prove what you are saying and go to a greater effort to prove it once and for all then maybe you can get added just like Terrell. But you are not in an unique position. NE (the new AM) is not on our vetted sellers list either, nor is CAP-W other than for helmets all due to questionable linage or missing parts (in the case of CAP-W). So at least to my knowledge you haven't been treated any more unjust than anyone else.
  6. Maybe it's time to pull your armour thread out of the archives for all to see again. Link: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16230-mtk-anh-stormtrooper-armor/
  7. Are you sure you're not confusing me with someone else? Because I have the thread open in a different tab and there is nothing of the sort from my part. Sounds more like you're talking about Mason. PS, your helmet thread has neither been edited nor hidden away. It's right here; http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/14862-tk-4510-helmet-1/
  8. To start off, I was never on staff while Terrel was DL, so whatever happened during that time is out of my hands. But I remember your thread and how staff asked you to disclose where things came from, show pics of the original cap suit and so on, which never happened, despite being asked several times. And you say yourself that you made the moulds before you had permission from TE2. It should also be noted that in the original thread TE2 is never noted as a source of origin. That came to staff attention via hearsay afterwards. We still have your original threads around, and those tell a different story.
  9. Because we haven't gotten that far as to require it yet. Our membership is a conservative bunch and things move slow. If you want to add screws to your return, feel free to do so. It won't make you ineligible for centurion. I have them on mine, even if they are purely decoration in my case.

  11. Looks like you're asking to be banned from the forums. (Yes, I realize this is probably more out of ignorance on his part, but it needs to be said)
  12. Looks like you still have some excess plastic at the bottom of the ear. But the rest of the trimming looks great.
  13. Very good reply there Andy, but there are some factual errors. TM offers his suit in 1.5 and 2 mm (maybe still 1 mm too, but have not seen that in a long time). However, only the 2 mm is acrylic capped (makes it glossier). ATA might be said to have linage, and it's not untrue, but its origins are of ROTJ armour with an ANH helmet. The armour has then over many years been reworked to look more like ANH by people other than ATA, although I'm sure he has made his own contributions too. ATA comes from recasting CAP (which was permitted), who in turn recast TE. What ATA had to do was add his own knee plate and some other bits.
  14. http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/13370-eib.png Nope, was just waiting on Phil to properly approve you by giving you the badge and all that. Then I forgot about you until know. Sorry!
  15. Actually, a blaster is required at EIB and Centurion levels. The legion can't discriminate 501st membership due to laws and restrictions, but we at FISD can on the optional "above and beyond" levels. Although, as far as I know, this has never been an issue. And if local laws prevent you from trooping with a blaster, it might not prevent you from owning one for display and use in your application photos. I suspect that is how some members have done in the more restricted areas.
  16. Yes. It's also a good thing not to have it air tight as it helps with ventilation and prevents fogging.
  17. Fairly up to date. Legit makers don't pop up too often. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4

  21. Don't bother with AP if you're tall and heavy. AP is the opposite of that. Also don't look for elvis boots, look for chelsea. There is a bunch of topics already on the matter, and we have pictures of the original boots used in the movies in our gallery called "photo references".
  22. Well, then I can't help you. I am not going to dig around 2000+ lines of CSS to break functioning code for two people that can switch browser on the odd occasion they need a specific function.
  23. Tried using another browser?
