  2. I have helped a ton of new recruits I just need them to take pictures and submit for EIB. I can at least post the nine that have helped to get their EIB, with maybe another 12 or 13 more that need to submit. If anything we can maybe overtake MEPD.
  3. I don't use any velcro for my kits, other than the velcro that is sewn on to the canvas belt. I tell anybody i build for if they want to put velcro on the shins once they leave i don't care but when i build them i use my own bra shin clips.
  4. I did not order a Anovos kit i already have enough kits as it is, i will be helping muliple people in AZ to put theirs together. No problem, i do this to help future trooper like i was helped when i started many years ago. It will be fun once you start, just get with your local garrison they will help you a lot. I use 80 grit. I don't like to waste time, so i go to town with the excess plastic. This grit works great and if you do it right you won't have a rough edge. So since i did not order a kit i am going to have to wait on my friends to get theirs and figure out a day we can all meet together to build the kit and film at the same time. I work most weekends so it is hard for me to meet with my garrison buddies for the build. If all goes well we should start building and filming on February 6th, so hopefully a couple of days later it will be edited and posted. i plan on looking over the kit and giving a review then putting together the torso on the first day. The good thing is my buddy is 5'8 and 165 so we can build it to screen accurate size. I am going to have him get the snaps, nuts and bolts for the metal brackets, elastic white and black, zap a gap and lastly a new canvas belt from TKkittle.
  5. Thank you sir, i try my best. Very cool just finished my last video, soon to start a new build I helped on of my garrison buddies and he got that for me as a birthday present, it was worth it. no problem sir. Ok i just posted my last video and within a week i will be starting the OT Anovos build, so i should have those videos up soon so the Anovos builders can see how i made mine.
  6. Thank you all, i plan on making one or two more videos to finish up the TK building. The last one will talk on storage tots and how to put on and store your kit.
  7. i use these http://www.toolup.com/Milwaukee-48-22-4010-Aviation-Snips-Left-Cutting?CAWELAID=120204890000031498&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=120204890000399800&cadevice=c&gclid=Cj0KEQiAqK-zBRC2zaXc8MOiwfIBEiQAXPHrXie8M1CN7RnYL5dKdwgQubIwWhHD2fGR6IthJVvL0OMaAhl08P8HAQ
  8. I have a couple of guys buying the new Anovos TK kit, i am going to have my friend come over and we will build his kit. He already has a AP kit and is thinking of turning it into a death trooper after we build his new Anovos kit. Since he is movie accurate size 5'10 i60 i will film building his kit and show the correct size outer shims. I have never used lexon scissors, i have always used either a razor or tin snips, once i got my newest tin snips i don't do the score and snap as much. it all depends on how thick the armor is, i have built a RS and it is super easy to cut that kit out.
  9. I might have to start doing it that way with my next batch of kits, i always have somebody new over at least once a month.
  10. I do my cover strips in 15mm, 20mm and 25mm but this was a larger guy so i think i ended up using 20mm and 30mm on his kit. Thank you Nick only a couple more and all the videos will be up. Still a lot of editing to do, my dog likes to bark while i am building.
  11. Thank you all i did this to help the community and the new guys.
  12. Thanks billy you and Voyk need to put in you EIB request.
  13. Thanks guys and i will go back and name each video for easier reference.
  14. I have been doing these videos for some time and have finally gotten around to post them, i still have more and i should have them done very soon. So if you have a few hours and want to know how i put together a TK from scratch i would go to check it out. I have been helping my garrison with there TK build so i have done alot of TK's, a couple of clones, biker scouts and TFA. The TK's are closer to my heart and they are much easier to build, I currently have one ANH centurion and one deathtrooper centurion and have helped four of my TK brothers get EIB and two get centurion. I try to build to the highest level from the start and i find it is only a little bit more and it is easier this way. I also fit the kits to the size of the wearer so it looks good on them. Anyways i hope this helps somebody to build theirs, so with the Motto troopers helping troopers, long live the Empire! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeDunMes3e0wQn8_ns-ma4g
