Hey cardiac we need to get together so we can make this EIB for you, Tim just got his so i would love to see another in one in our garrison. Mike F. just needs his straped up and then i will help him send in his EIB, so it looks like you are next in line.

Wow i am going to have to do this to my scratch built, i love how you made the folding stock lock into the barrel. I am going to have to modify my folding stock the same way. Very impressive Two thumbs up!

Great job Tim know i am not the only EIB in the DSG, know to get more people to do the same to there armour!

Isaac when i get to your house i will have to show you the butt end and strip process it will be much cleaner and give you alot more room for your bicep and forearm, and your legs. we are also going to shape your leg armour to your legs so it doesn't look funny and also shape the tops so it looks more like the TE screen used suits. We are also going to cut down your chest back and shoulder bells to fit you all of those pieces are very big and we need to ft it more to your body style. So don't cut off to much plastic until i can get over there to help you more, can't wait to help you out and get you started, just remember it will probably take us a couple of months to get it right but in the end you will like the result.

The 501st is not some hokey relegion,soory had to say it. I was luckey when i came back from my first deployment i was able to buy everything i needed. You should take them to a event to see first hand, but if they don't like it still, it doesn't matter you are the one doing. Just get as much little stuff as you can and do all the research, read and read some more. GLw your build you will be a TK before you know it.

Sorry i missed this event looked like fun, but i did go to the harkins event later that night. That was Will in the Cody and those other two were probaly fans as far as i know we don't have anybody in the DSG sporting those awesome costumes!

I actually like this way better than when i had velcro on my other shin armor. I had to heat my shins so that they would lay flat on top of each other so when i do close them they don't have as much of a gap. If you want i can post pics of them later once i get off of work.

I have my buddy in the DSG that i helped get his EIB done that should be submitting soon along with his centurion submission.

Thanks guys for all the help, i really enjoyed getting this armour up to the better standard. I am going to try and get more TK from my garrison to better there armour and apply. I should have a friend of mine posting very soon for his EIB and also centurion which is next for me to.

Ok just did some more pics tonight i also put up a red back ground to make it easier on the staff. I put up two action pics i am leaning more towards the second action pic myself,let me know if i am missing anything or you might need more pics.

I used a flat black and the buttons are painted grey and blue, my friend has the humbrel paint. As soon as i can get them from him i will be repainting my bucket and buttons to the more correct humbrel colors, not that they aren't the right color. I tried to match them as best i could with the paint i could find at the stores but you can't beat humbrel.

The scratch built is 19 3/4 and with folding stock it is 24 3/4, the shoulder bells do slide around i was thinking of putting in the elastic on the shoulder bells so hopefully they will stay in place better. Thanks for the fast and positive comment.

Does vern sell those holsters and where can i get bigger clips for my TD?

I cut out the holster so i could put my modified hasbro in. The mag goes where the cut out is, looks funny when the E-11 isn't sitting in there, i think it is the doopy do resin pieces, i just drilled a hole and put in a dring and also added two t tracks just have to paint it up and hopefully that should be good enough for EIB. I am still in the process of making a scratch built pvc and metal E-11. Thanks for the comment if the holster isn't good enough i might just get another one, my friend got this one and i don't like this holster as much as the last one i had. the leather is alot softer and my other was alot stiffer. If that makes any sense....

Here is some more pics once i get it finished and get my EIB then i will try and go for centurion, i have painted all the stuff on the helmet but the srtips, i am getting some tube stripe templets so once i get them then i will paint them up. All i need is TK boots, rubber gloves with rubber handplates, inner drop boxes and finish my E-11 and my TD. Just need to find a place to get them from and take off my old ones very easy fix.

I finished my AP about a year ago, this is my third stromtropper armor. The first was a FX( i didn't know better back then), so after seeing the better and more accurate AP i built that as my second. I never tried to make either one to EIB standards until mu friend wanted new armor i had sold him my old FX. SO i sold him my old Ap and got a new AP. I took my time and wanted to try and get my EIB, so here is my finished armor, please let me know if i am missing anything or if i need to fix anything. I noticed i need larger clips for my TD and i need to finish my scratch build E-11.
