You can check out some of my ATA armor in the TE derived build threads. I think you'll be happy with your kit ATA is a great guy to deal with too! -

Little white strip things
SirDenzington89 replied to SirDenzington89's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
yes the ANH ones. Thanks Pandatrooper! -
Hey guys, One things I am fuzzy about is the white strips you put on the armor on top of the joints. I was wondering which parts of the armor are supposed to have a strip on them I think ATA put the measurments on there but I am just not sure where they go haha. Thanks for any help Jonathan

Honestly I would go for an ATA if I were you trevor. Its not as expensive as the other helmets, only 100 for the lid kit. I got an ATA kit and I think the helmet looks great but you can juge for yourself. I also had no experience whatsoever of building a helmet. I turned out it was pretty easy to put together however. Heres a picture. ----- Found this Master Replicas lid...Lol. Its worth a look and a laugh -----

How do you survive a convention without pockets?
SirDenzington89 replied to SapaWanmdi's topic in Off Topic
Hey Jim, You should just get that TK ready for Celebreation V in Orlando in August while you're at it haha. The E-11 holster pocket come in handy for sure. I have read about guys using the thermal detonator on the back as a carrying case -
I too just saw this amazing film in 3D last night. I had no idea what to expect when I sat down. It snowed here so I practically had the theater to myself, aside from my family. I was totally blown away by the visual effects. I knew most of it wasnt real but damn it sure looked like it. The story has been retold as you guys said but it was brilliantly retold in AVATAR and I enjoyed the retelling. I didnt get all the Tree of Souls and chanting rituals, im not really into that, but aside from that and the girl from Lost it was a fantastic time. I guess it was a long movie but I was so into the movie that I didnt even realize how long it had been till I looked at my phone when the movie ended. Will it last thru the ages? Maybe, Maybe not. I think it could go both ways possibly. A film that made as much money as AVATAR did, and is still making, wont easily be forgotten. It will probably be remembered as one of first and best movies that lead the way in this new 3D technology that Cameron used. I thought it was a great movie, one of the best I have seen, and certainly the best of 09! It was a very refreashing film opposed to a lot of the garbage coming out of Hollywood currently. I'll probably get the DVD

Oh okay I didnt understand at first. I had the tube stripes on there but I decided to repaint and took them off. Before I took them off I did actually have 11 on both sides cause if I had 13 or 12 on the ATA they don't all fit on there so they look even. -

Im gonna use the decals, I dont think I have a steady enought hand to do the stripes and make them look good. -

Whats up guys? Its terribly cold here in NC and we got a good amout of snow too. Anyway I've been workin on the build and its going a bit slower than I expected but I do think that I have made some good progress for never doing this before haha. I have been doing a lot of work on my helmet as that is what I wanted to finish first. I will admit that it's no TM or anything. It has some flaws but over all I think that the helmet looks great. I also took a pic of the chest too, I one set of complete arm armor done just not ready for a picture. The cold weather is probably gonna show down the painting part I am thinking. Well here is the pictures. Hope you guys enjoy. I'd love some opinions on the helmet even though I couldnt really change any thing at this point. Thanks Guys! Jonathan -
Tom: great vid man! really enjoyed that one. Alex: very funny. LOL!

Roguetrooper: I think I am gonna do an ANH lid. I would go ESB for celebration v but I dont have the money to get a new set of handplates etc. So I think I'll work with what I got and go for the Original look . What are the specifics for the paint colors for the frown and buttons
