Someone asked me why I stopped trooping. I didn't really. I got and help the locals out here in Louisiana with their events. I just don't get into armor anymore. I injured my back in 2009 while trooping Comic Con because a fellow 501st member thought it would be funny to tackle me. One year later, I was able to stand up straight again. I've never been able to do too much since then. It's a shame. I still have my Sandtrooper armor and a Jango in the works. I'm going to see if I can go an event or two if only even for a short time. I've been making rubber blasters for 501st since 2003 back when nobody would buy them because they thought they were soft like nerf. I had my armor in 2003 but I applied for my 501st id a few years later. Long ago, I used to have an old website called sci-fire.com where I created a blaster type called hyperfirm.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Gerry. I'm 54 and 3 quarters and I live in Bedfordshire in England. I’ve recently joined the 1st Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment and I’m really looking forward to being part of this awesome community. I’ve always had a love for Star Wars and the iconic stormtrooper armour. Safe to say the original movie had a big impact on me. As a kid growing up in the '70s and seeing that in the cinema .... well ... just amazing. Anyway, fast forward a few decades, and I finally turned some dreams into reality ..... And .... I’ve been with the UK Garrison since November 2022 and had my ANH Stunt TK cleared in March 2023—TK-29770. I've been actively trooping since and absolutely loving it. I’ve known about FISD for a while but only recently took the plunge and registered here. I’m hoping to learn more about the detachment, connect with other TKs from across the globe, and maybe even see how I can take my armour to the next level. Hows this look: might make the centre spine a little thinner on the left side to make the left top trap bigger in area. I had used the base print file so theres an extra 3mm width over all that needs to be taken back to accomodate the thickness of the plastic.

Yes thanks for asking that! I meant to add (and I'll add it in an edit here in a moment) that I will be going for Centurion level. Almost every post i've read says the same that its easier to do immediately. So why not?! I have an undersuit! I have a two piece already and fits great!.
