Not sure from your image if you painted the bumps on the ears or the in between, I see 3 or 4 bump ears may be used for base clearance (see how they appear evenly spaced), they could be tidied up a touch mainly the bottoms. Basic The “ear” bars have three or four bumps and are painted grey, with a black outline. Painting the bumps with rank stripes (highlighted) in black is optional. For L2 Ear bars shall have four bumps only, not three. For L3 Ear bars shall have only two to three bumps painted in black (rank stripes). You can see a lot of opening behind your shins, many use a heat bath to soften the plastic and allow to bend You mentioned the boots, the ones you have used the shins are siting up a tad, especially your right. Haha building the KB props TFA kit made me fearless about cutting plastic The Anovos kit on the other hand was an absolute dream to build.....when it eventually did arrive Also, pretty sure I know of atleast one more person that would have no problem cutting up that plastic
