  2. Hello, My name is Dorian, 52 Years old and I live in Colorado. I watched Star Wars when it first arrived in theaters in Germany. Since then I have been a big fan and the original trilogy was a huge part of my life growing up. I will never forget the day my friend and I walk into a comic book store in my hometown and they had a full life size Stormtrooper on display. It was for sale but of course well beyond our lunch money we had available. But from that day on my dream has always been to own my own suit. Well, only 40 Years later my dream came true. I stumbled upon this website researching how the armor should look like and where to buy it. That's when I realized my first mistake because I bought a full suit from stormtrooperstore.com. The armor didn't fit and didn't quite look right. My plan was to "fix it". The more research I did the more I realized I might as well buy a new kit. So, I order my TK ANH kit from RS Propmasters, watched all the videos (many times) and started working on my suit. After many months, I am almost done. I am still waiting on new shoes (keeptrooping.com) and I am on the lookout for a good blaster. Maybe a new neckseal as well. I am happy I landed in this forum. Thank you for accepting my membership request. Cheers! -Dorian

  6. Hello Wolfgang. the coverstrips on the outside need to be perfectly flat and of a certain thickness. Usually the portions that are cut off, will be thinner from the vacuforming process as well as not flat. Since the inner joining strips are not seen, you could definitely use them on the inside, but I would recommend fresh un-formed ABS for the outer cover strips.

  12. Hello again, @Nairy! I don't have a whole lot in the way of accolades just yet, but I would love a fancy banner if you're willing! If possible, I'd like it to include that I'm a Valkyrie. https://i.postimg.cc/vB3CgR2s/Centurion-Pose.png

  15. I would echo Justin's post, please only use your own photos for your submission, you are also missing an Action Photo, thread on using the right background for action photos You can find EIB photo checklist here Good luck with your submission

  16. Hey Angie - it's not really standard practice to include photos of someone else's armor in your submission and I can see this leading to confusion. The DOs will use the CRL and screen reference in their review and do not need these additional images, so I would suggest removing them for clarity. Good luck with your submission!
