  1. It's also a good idea if you use padding to have velcro glued to it so you can remove and wash it, majority of my helmets have removable padding and it's a godsend after a really hot day of trooping

  2. Hello, I'm currently building my first New Hope TK armour, hopefully to film accuracy spec. Can you tell me how to contact an Armourer to help me progress? Any helps appreciated. Cheers Rich

  4. Hi Rich, for an armourer you will need to head over to the UK Garrison https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/forum/ You'll need to do this to get clearance, as you Live in Wales you'd fall under our jurisdiction. The team over there will help get you up and running. For other questions please do feel free to hang around, and once you've done your initial clearance please check out our level 2 (Expert Infantry) and 3 (Centurion) clearance programs.

  5. I have a pile of old IKEA hand towels in my box. Before packing up I wipe down all the yuck and then chuck those towels in with my under suit for a wash. Once all clean it just goes back into the box for next time.

  6. Hello Richard, and welcome to this crazy awesome hobby! Most of all welcome to whitearmor! I'd suggest looking through the list of Attachés to see if you have one in your area - if not then the closest one can for sure help you get started at least! I concur with Glen, going to the UK Garrison forum would also be good!

  7. Its so humid here that I usually wipe down and disinfect my armor and my box, letting them air out for a while. If not, my armor would be disgusting.

  8. I carry a tub of disinfectant wipes in my kit box. Keep it clean. Plus it makes it smell good. Lol.

  9. Either wipe down after a troop, or do not sweat at troops!
