  1. Discord is a platform that features user-friendly text, voice, and video chat in public or private servers. And as of today, one of these servers is for us. I’m proud to announce that we can finally launch this project for all of us: FISD Discord If you’re looking for a casual and relaxed space to chat with your fellow TK’s, this is for you. Yes, even if you’re new to the Forums. We would be honored if you would join us. And here’s a quick DISCORD FAQ What is Discord? Discord is a free communications app, most similar to popular apps like Skype, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and TeamSpeak. It features user-friendly text, voice, and video chat in public or private servers. Is Discord meant to replace the Forum? No, it is not! It is simply another form of communications for all of us to stay in contact with the FISD and be an active part of our community. What is the goal of the FISD Discord? Our goal is to offer a space for chatting and communication beyond what the forum can offer, such as voice/video chat, a space for troop pictures that did not fit into the troop log and general talk about our armors. Oh – and there’s our #spoilers channel to discuss the latest Star Wars News. Essentially an extension of the FISD. If we start with Discord, will the Forums still be relevant? Of course! The forums are and always will be the heart of the FISD. We have our pictures, our build threads, our references, and our programs all over here. That won’t change, nor would we want it to. Do I have to get Discord and be active on there? No. Discord is an extra, you won’t miss out on anything by not joining in. (Well, except for some fun conversations.) Should anything that’s relevant to the FISD Forum come up, it will get shared on the forums as well. We already have staff on there who are ready to take care of the Discord server and will do their best to make sure nothing too relevant goes on over there. Do any other Detachments already have this? Not to our knowledge. However, there are some Garrisons/Squads/Outposts out there who are already utilizing Discord with varying success. Who is allowed to join the server? All FISD Members, age 18 and older, who are in good standing are allowed to join the Server. 501st Membership is not a requirement. Who’s in charge of the Server? As of now we have two Admins (names in Green on the Server) -- @Daetrin and @revlimiter. Additionally, many of our Detachment Staff are on there as well, easy to recognize by the yellow names. All of Staff are using their forum names as usernames, such as “Morgi (DPRO)”, with the role on Staff in brackets behind the name. For easier communication, we recommend that you too change your server name to your FISD forums name. Do you have any other questions? If so, please feel free to let us know! On the Server itself you can find our Staff in yellow or green, so do not hesitate to contact any of us. Additionally, there’s a #help-general channel, where we will get back to you as soon as possible. Once you join, please also take a minute to look through our Server Rules. By using the Server, you agree to comply with the Server Rules. Please note that this Discord server may contain images and information on member built non-functioning prop weapons as seen in the Star Wars films. These weapons look real enough. Because of this, the FISD Discord server is meant for age 18+ only. Use of this Discord server indicates acceptance of this 18+ age limit. We're looking forward to seeing you on there!

  2. Thank you. I will definitely be spending more time on these forums growing and learning; it's been a great resource for sure and I'm honored to finally be a part of it. I will definitely be submitting my photos in the future for possible higher consideration (Hopefully), as well. (I kind of got the bug now, haha).

  3. Welcome Ravik! You're in the right place for all things stormtrooper related, including Enoch! Have you already started construction of your own 3D printed kit? Below you'll find a link to a resource through for the development of the Enoch CRL (costume reference library), as well as as one of several Enoch build threads here on the forum. Looking forward to seeing your own build!

  4. I don't think you will have any issues with the black you have showing. Been a while since I've seen much on Hero helmets, RS Props, TM (Troopermaster) and SDS (Shepperton Design Studios) do kits, one thing to bare in mind is color match, there can be a big difference in color from maker to maker, even a makers own supply can change color from year to year depending on the supplier. You can find the makers contact info here

  5. Screen references Just remember you put the helmet on sideways until it's over your nose then twist straight. Also the bigger the opening the easier it is for younglings to look up and see your face
