  1. We had a pretty heavy storm yesterday that knocked out power and internet for a bit, so here's my day-late update. Weight at start: 191 lbs Goal weight: 150 lbs Current weight (18 July): 182 lbs I've not made any major changes in my diet or exercise routine in the last week, so I'm going to chalk those 2 gained pounds up to muscle that I've been building. Here's my updated exercise plan since I've gotten used to the original 10km bike and elliptical sessions: 15km on recumbent bike and elliptical 4 sets of 25 bicep curls using 7 lb weights Lane swimming (I'll probably be starting that up in August because the local pool keeps switching its lane swimming session times for unspecified reasons). Keep up the great work, everyone!

  2. Excellent work on that sniper knee placement, Gerald! That can be a pain in the posterior armor to get right, but it looks like you managed it in fine style. If I could suggest one small thing, it would be to round out the area seen below. Sharp angles can lead to splits/cracks..

  3. I still remember that feeling of the first time kitting up in the armor, never gets old. You can find once you start moving around that a little trimming may be needed here and there, especially on arms Almost there, "stay on target"

  4. YES!!!! Looking fantastic! Almost ready for your post. For inner elbow armor bites - try something like these cheap paintball helmet pads. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PGF4CTH One of the smallest ones up high on either the front or back edge should eliminate the bites. It'll either bring the armor super close to your skin and eliminate the bite, or bring the armor away from the skin and give clearance to eliminate the bite. My own armor has a pad on the inside for one arm and the outside for the other. It just happened to work best that way. And as a bonus, the larger pads work great on the front of the shin to keep the sniper knee spaced out. For back of the knee bites - scissors. Give the shins the mobility cuts.

  12. I've had crazy network problems here which knocked me offline for several days. Painful but things are working again. And I haven't stopped working out. Over 3 weeks straight. I feel so much healthier than I have in so long.

  13. Hey all, first time poster. Today I ordered an AP armor kit. Super stoked. It's going to be several weeks until it arrives but I'm trying to get as ready as I can. I'm not certain how well I will do at assembling this armor as it's definitely new for me. One concern I already have is I'm having a difficult time finding YouTube videos or build threads specifically for AP armor. It makes me worry that maybe I should have chosen a different vendor if you all are primarily using other ones! Or, perhaps building the armor is roughly the same no matter who supplies it. All that to say, if anyone can point me to some good threads or videos for AP armor, or simply encourage me that I don't have to focus too specifically on my armor supplier, that would be helpful. I'm crazy excited to build my suit but incredibly intimidated at the process! Thanks in advance

  14. Screen references show they can be slightly angled but I would bring yours up a little as it is quite angled
