  1. My 3d kit didn`t have that raised section for the mounting screws so I took some thin abs and made one After some cutting and painting this is how it ended up

  3. Not being satisfied with the ABS paste, and also considering the paint seeming (hehe) to match.. I went ahead and used body filler and paint. I REALLY lucked out on the paint match here, it is DEAD ON Up close in the correct lighting you'll see the body filler. Not that good with fillers yet, but it's not noticeable at all from a small distance. For any Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish folks here that have a 2012 ATA kit, this is the paint I used (gloss white): https://www.clasohlson.com/no/CRC-Pro-Paint-spraylakk/Pr346047001

  4. I was drilling something out maybe a week ago and my dremel died motor burnt out. yes, it actually died from just, plain, old use. I have had this particular Dremel unit for i think.... oh dear, it's been in the family now since 89 i believe. So for those Troopers out there wondering how good the Dremel actually is. I've actually had it that long. It would probably be a cheap thing to fix, as i believe it was probably just a bad surge that shorted out the unit.

  6. Alright. Somewhat nice update here. So I worked on painting the calves and the Yoke this week. Paint went well overall. I was then able to attach velcro to the calves inner seam now too. My compression shirt and pants came in too. So I figured it was time for a quick few pictures. Here's the closer look a the back of the yoke.

  13. This is (and is going to be) my bible reference while building my blaster. I want to thank all people that share their pictures, knowledge and above all free time, the most expensive item nowadays. Keep up that awesome work!

  14. Considering nothing has shipped and it’s already almost August I’m sure things will be on track for another delay. The helmets were already delayed to fall and Anovos always seems to be faster with helmets then armor kits. I think its quite apparent aren’t that we can’t rely on anything they say at this point. I still will keep my helmet on order though. I like my Jim bucket, but think the Anovos one will just be a bit more accurate.
