This morning I started installing the sound cards in the Blue Snaggletooth Hengstler. Perfect fit. All I gotta do now is trim wires for the connection to the power source. I hot glued the number cylinder and the sound boards so they stay put

Yup, which is why they are as good as we can have them with the material we have.

This is my very first build. I haven't completed it yet but wanted to share my progress. I decided to hand paint (free hand) the helmet but quickly decided to invest in the paint templates. They haven't arrived so I'm on hold right now. All comments are welcome. Good, bad or indifferent. Cheers!

Yup, but we have other sources like the toys, etc. It's quite possible it may change once the movies come out. Thank back to the EP2/EP2 clones - those early suits are totally unusable today. Look at the early build FOTKs too that were made before the movie. It's not 100% binary - I'm not saying we don't consider behind the scenes shots for details - because we do - what I'm saying is that the behind the scenes shots are used to fill in and support screen caps, not override them.

Actually it's all about movie clips. The reality is that the CRLs are based on what you see on screen, not prop replication.

Yeah, I learned the hard way: Not a good option if you're doing your first build unless you want to hang on for one more harvest with Uncle Owen. I canceled my order mid-September but didn't receive my refund until I threatened a "charge-back" with them around the 28th day after cancelling. Since then, I purchased a kit from RS and actually put it together these past 2 months and just found out today that I am now TK 19232! If you're still waiting for a refund, threatening a charge-back seemed to get their attention.

Before: After: A bit of the creases are showing but not bad. Took 4 coats. Should be good for protecting me from Ewoks.
