Quick update! Got my boots and gloves from Imperial Boots not too long ago! It was exciting to get the handplates on them and finally have a 100% done piece I've also been painting and clear-coating quite a bit. Right now the pieces that are 100% painted and cleared are the shoulders, the hands, the knees, the thermal det, the cod, and the ab. The chest I'm being super picky with the paint finish on, but it's almost ready to be clear coated!

The help of a few with experience can definitely help the build along

Here's my Laser Ax Ver. 2 : It's a big leap from my ver. 1 (which was made from very limited reference photos way way before Force Friday 2): I'm so happy ver.2 folds completely! haha! I'll compile the build pics and post it here soon also

Hollowing the scope is a bit scary but worth doing it if you want to get that extra bit of realism in your build. Lightens the blaster a bit more too. Can’t remember who recommended it but the wood spade bits worked well to hollow out my scope if you are going for the straight forward drill out method. But the other way seen more these days where the smaller lens end get hacked off then repositioned once all is hollowed on the inside seems the safer method, plus easier to insert lenses, etc.

Cheers, Brian. Yes, I'm very much looking forward to getting all of the parts on. I also tried some of the grinding bits but found they weren't effective enough. Possibly okay for very fine adjustments, just not much good for shifting larger amounts. Might hollow out the scope next. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wouldn't say I was hyped as I don't get in to the games much, but I do enjoy seeing the new details coming out, like the code disk on the officer hat upside down
