  2. Here’s the results! Definitely a lot better.
  3. As long as you have room then trim away, will give a better appearance Here are mine
  4. Although maggots are mentioned in a few builds I haven't seen any actual examples. I think I would keep them a realistic color. Personally I would glue with E6000, would be much stronger than hot glue. Some info from wiki but unfortunately no images A maggot was a type of creature. The muscle maggot was native to Rattatak, while the grain maggot was a food eaten by Hutts. The screw maggot was native to Haruun Kal and gravel-maggots lived on Tatooine. The Diptera maggot was used by the Yuuzhan Vong.

  7. Ordered some fake maggots with the thought of eventaully adding a few here and there. I'd use a drop of hot glue to attach them to the armor spots. But, I'm thinking would it be best to keep the original color? Or hand paint them a different color so they would fit in universe? 🤔 💭 If there were such things in Star Wars.
  8. I’m ready to sew for you as you are ready good sir! Yeep. I’m excited! [emoji175] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. After looking at ukswrath’s build I think I’m gonna cut the sides down to 7.5mm. I should still have plenty of room for my wrist.
  10. Thank you gmrhodes13 for the measurements and guides! I ended up cutting to 1/2 an inch for the sides. Here’s how they look, you can see me lining my 15mm cover strip up in the last photo. There’s still some of that side edge sticking out. Would that be acceptable or do I need to trim some more so my strip covers it? I can get my wrist inside comfortably as is, it’s snug at the ends towards my bicep.

  14. Hi, requesting 501st level access https://www.501st.com/member/22876/ User TK ID: 22876 User ID: 33040 Thanks!
  15. Welcome to FISD!
  16. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos during the process so I'm not sure it'd be a very effective how-to.
  17. Unfortunately, we haven't integrated that function into the forum. I use this iLoveIMG website. That makes it quite simple.
  18. My profile images is 48.0 KB (49,152 bytes) and 150 x 150 pixels if that helps. Unfortunately our forum only allows a certain amount of attachments due to our vast member base and size, we literarily do not have the space to host so many members images. Many of us use online image hosts, upload your images there then post a link to the images into your posts. Use "direct link" or link with full file extension ie: .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .gif, .png etc etc. Here is one of many free hosts available and How To Many of us were using IMGUR but unfortunately UK members can no longer access those images. Flickr is what I have been using https://www.flickr.com/ If you need help with a signature or other image information hit up @Nairy who is available to help with images
  19. Has anyone thought of building a repository for profile photos and background images that meet guidelines for pixel count and maximum size, I’m struggling to make any image I can find work, would be awesome if someone that knew what they were doing could create a space to pick and choose?!? Maybe it already exists.. if u know, let me know
  20. Last week
  21. Awesome, thanks for the additional info
  22. If it matters, this is PETG but I believe the package says it should work with acrylic as well.
  23. got it! you werent kidding! lol, User ID:49814 screenshotting that one
  24. This would make a great addition to the How To area, when you get some free time
  25. That worked out great, must admit I've never tried tinting acrylic, but think I'm going to have to give this a go now, luckily our haberdashery store carries that line of dye
