sskunky
Hey guys, I am thinking of pimping my AA Shadow lid and thought I would ask what you guys think. I got this lid from AA about 4 years ago well before the shadows had seen the light of day from GL. AA pulled one in a matt black ABS just to see what it looked like as a negative and he very kindly sold it to me and signed it 1/1. I am in a dialema, do I pimp it up and paint it Gloss with hand painted details and replace the blue tube stripes with silver or leave it as it is? Add mirrored lenses if anyone can supply them? You can find some pictures of the Shadow at------------- Any of your valued and expert input would be great. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me make my mind up. Mark. I dont know what an SDS will go for, never priced em. I say yes... Pimp that to be as canon as possible. meke it awesome. I guess I should get busy designing a proto shadow lens... Seems alot of troopers have em these days.

TX-8687[501st]
i would love if anyone can do mirrored shadow lenses bubble or stunt!!!!!! preferably bubbled, but any will do!!!!!
Smitty
PM sent Mark! I can make them in the stunt flat lens variety. Since the material I use has been tempered they wont soften up in order to make bubble lens unfortunately so I'm still researching how to make the bubble variety. I defintely think you should gloss black the SDS! The 501st approved colors for Shadow Stormtrooper tube stripes are blue or dark gray. BUT Scott M. makes a killer set of chrome tubestripes that look totally phenominal. I say chome for the win!!!

4505 Marcel
Personally I would leave it as is and buy a different bucket, this could be worth money in years to come, who knows. But if its messed with not so much I doubt. Its a rare piece so just cherish it dude is my opinion. Or you could sell it to me, to go with my AA Hero and Stunt
TK8114[TK]
I got this lid from AA about 4 years ago well before the shadows had seen the light of day from GL. Um for the record, Shadow troopers aka Blackhole Troopers have been around since the 70s newspaper strips.
sskunky
Um for the record, Shadow troopers aka Blackhole Troopers have been around since the 70s newspaper strips. I realize the concept had been around for many years but this was the first and only shadow produced by AA SDS and before GL licensed them to MR etc. Mark. Bezerkus
I'd get a different kit and trick that out, I have to agree with Marcel, that could be worth some money someday due to it's uniqueness.
