humperdingle
Elastic straps at rear of boot, connected to inside rear of shin.

I use velcro for shin attachment and snaps to loop the elastic through the rear tabs of boots.
starsaber25[Admin]
I'm sort of the same as Mark but didn't go anymore beyond industrial strength velcro.Ā I put a strip in the front of the boot, on the sides of the boot and small strips on the back corners.Ā I glued them on the boot and inside of the shin.Ā Once I did that a couple years ago I have yet to have a problem with my shins riding up.Ā Only issue I have now is sometimes the velcro rips off the boot and I just regule a new piece.
Addertime[TK]
I use a stirrup of elastic which velcros to the front of the shin. It works quite well. There's a tutorial somewhere here at FISD that details it.
ukswrath[Staff]
Velcro. Always centered, always in the correct position, it works for me.

There's a tutorial somewhere here at FISD that details it. Ā This is what I do as well. I didn't want to add anything to my boots, and the stirrups just need a piece of velcro on the inside of the shins to attach to.
68Brick[TK]
Industrial Velcro on the front of the boot and on the inside of the front of the shin. Allows for walking movement/stairs/whatever and the shin stays in place.
MrSnrub[501st]
finally got around to doing it and ended up just ca gluing (easy to remove and adjust as the glue doesn't bond elastic to plastic to well holds good tho!)) 1inch elastic to each side of the shin, that goes under my foot, works perfect!
