Looking good, should be an easy approval for EIB.

A couple critiques:

1. Your hand guards are on the wrong hands, need to be switched.

2. You may want to shorten the shoulder bell straps so they are closer to your shoulder straps (to reduce gap)

3. Keep an eye on the ab/kidney gaps. You may need to tighten your belt and/or create some shims. Based on your body type it may just be an issue of tightening your belt.

4. take a picture of the d-ring on the back of the blaster.

5. need a picture of the outside rivet of the cod to make sure it is single and not painted.

Also, word of advice; try to change the velcro system to snaps. You will be much happier down the line.

Good Luck on your approval.

Thank you illusionz_09, I truly appreciate the critique.

1. D'oh!  I dressed myself and am still getting the hang of a solo suit-up.  Obviously, I blew it with the hand guards.  Also, my ability to put on shin armor alone is terrible.

2. Thank you, I will revisit this.

3. I agree.  I believe my belt could be about an inch tighter and is another result of a solo suit-up.

4. Just added, thanks!

5. Will add this as well.  I did not paint the rivet white.

Again, I appreciate the expert help.

This.

Overall, you're lookin' really good Shanester. With a few alterations we'll see you with an EIB badge very soon.

Nice work trooper!

Hey Shane Andrew or myself will be with your shortly. While you wait could you post a photo of the waist belt by itself (front and back) and Helmet "S" seal please. We'll also need a new photo showing the hand guards on the correct hands as David has mentioned.

Thanks

Somehow, I neglected to take a good belt photo.  I will do it straight away and post it up here.  Happy to photo anything else better, as well. Thanks again!

Hey Shane, thank you for your EI application, let's get started.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations!        :salute:. Very nice job on your build    :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests. 1) Anovos is notorious for paint over spray, especially around the teeth. Were requesting troopers to remove the over spray where the teeth meets the gun line. A little mineral spirits and a Q-tip usually does the trick. NOTE: In some cases too much of the original tooth color can be removed. If that happens you may need to repaint the entire frown. Also, don't forget to extend the frown outside the last tooth.

Here's a reference photo

2) While on the subject of the helmet. Unfortunately the ear screws Anovos uses are incorrect. The correct screws should be "V" head and slotted. These should be replaced.

3) Hovi Tips screens are incorrect. They should be more course. There are several threads on how to replace these and where to buy the material.

4) Shoulder bell to chest and back gap. We recommend you reduce the gap in this area. It can be done by tightening the upper bell to should strap and removing more of the lower return edge.

5) The Center Ab button panel looks like it may have slid during installation. No a big deal but you might want to move it up before the lower edge gets caught on something.

6) The left button panel should not have any return edge on it. If it can be removed without damaging the armor we suggest you trim off the return edge as seen in the reference photo. Thank you

7) Not a huge deal but if you could tuck the posterior in a bit that would be awesome.

Centurion Suggestions:

In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only are of concern here is the ab to kidney gap. The CRL states ideally there's no gap. This will have to be remedied before applying for Centurion.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Ideally there is no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor.

Drop Box alignment. As per the CRL your drop boxes are to be aligned with the edge of your ammo belt. They also sit below the ammo belt. A simple fix for this is to glue the connecting strap to the cloth belt.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

That's it. Excellent job on your build, hope to see you at Centurion.   :jc_doublethumbup:

Thank you very much!  I will begin work on the suggested upgrades immediately.  Thank you for all the time you put into reviewing my request data and preparing me for Centurion status.  I know it has to be a lot of your time involved. It is appreciated.
