ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Anthony, Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. In the meantime we'll need you to remove your ID decal and resubmit photos. We also need to see photos of your helmet "S" seal, green lens, blaster "D" ring, waist belt connections, exterior sides of the cod and posterior (rivet and snaps). Thanks brother
Cplnobbie[501st]
Am I able to cover the decal with something just for the picture as that's the ukg 501st or would I need a new bell for that side ? ukswrath[Staff]
Well, there's not supposed to be decals or anything that's not in the CRL.

troopermaster
Swap the bells over when taking front photos so the decal is not seen. It will only take a minute and it should keep the staff happy. I find it quite disappointing that the staff still cannot overlook the decal that ALL UKG members must wear as part of the Garrison.

Because it's not in any movie nor the CRL.
Daetrin[Admin]
Because it's not in any movie nor the CRL. Correct. The UKG is part of the 501st, not the other way around.

magni[TK]
Looks good! Only thing I see is your ab looks like it could come up. It looks like it's trying to pop out from under your chestplate. Maybe move chest down a little could help. Besides that looking great Trooper! Good Luck! ukswrath[Staff]
Hi Anthony welcome to your EI review and thank you for the added or updated photos and thank you for your application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper, congratulations! Very nice build on your armor David Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over but nothing incredibly major. 1) A very common issue we see is the shoulder bell to chest & back plate gap. Optimally there should be very little gap in the area. We're suggesting you tighten the upper bell to shoulder strap. This will draw the bell closer to the cover strip and armor. Here's a reference photo 2) Kidney and ab out of alignment. Not a big deal here but your do want these to be at the same level. Minor adjustment and you're golden. Reference photo 3) The vertical ab button place return edge could stand to be trimmed down a bit. It hangs over the raised ab mount where it should be slightly undersized. Reference photo 4) Chest plate is to supposed to cover the ab plate. You'll need to tighten or add chest to ab straps to keep the chest down. Reference photo 5) Keep an eye on your back plate to kidney gap. There's supposed to be minimal clearance here. When your arms are down it's fine but when raised the gap grows. You may have to tighten the connecting straps to keep it down. 6) Posterior or butt plate should reside under the kidney. A strapping adjustment and or possibly reducing the lower posterior return edge may help as well. Here's a reference photo giving you an idea of what were looking for. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. We do one area that will need to be address before applying for Centurion if you choose to do so. According to the CRL the drop boxes should be aligned with the outer edge of the ammo belt. We suggest gluing the drop box strap to the waist belt. Doing this should help hold it in place. For level three certification (if applicable): Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. Reference photo. Beautiful job on your armor build. See you at Centurion. Congrats.
