Cbass59
Title says it all, I'm stationed in Germany, and am afraid if I Buy an E11 from within the States, Customs will snatch it up and I'll be out of money.

Does anyone know where I can get ANH E11 for a decent price. Not trying to break the wallet here.
humperdingle
Resin kit from Doopydoos?
justjoseph63[Staff]
First, thanks for your service, Sebastian! Ā Like Mark suggested, I would go with the Doopydoos kit. Ā http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-complete-anh-e-11-blaster-kit-offer-2685-p.aspĀ Since it is sent from the UK and is in kit form, you should have no problems. Ā Be aware, though, that shipping can take up to 8 weeks (at least here to the states) and once you order it you will more than likely receive no further communication from them, even if you email them to ask a question. Ā You will receive it, though. Ā Just be prepared to hurry up and wait. Ā If you want to take it to the next level of realism, I highly suggest getting one of Tino's (T-Jay) E-11 finishing kits: Ā http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28444-fs-completion-sets-for-e-11-resin-kits-with-worldwide-insured-shipping-and-paypal/Ā He is actually located in Germany, and can get you one quickly. Cbass59
Mark & Joseph thank you for the info. I will look at both options and see what which is the better of the two (quality, cost, buildIngo, etc). Thanks again for the information! RynoHawk[501st]
Just curious (I've never been in the position of mailing prop weapons when I was in the service), but if you're US Military having it shipped to I assume a US Base, would it be subject to German customs if it's going through APO?Ā

themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Also check out ShearTech, they do both resin and rubber blasters from the UK.
Twnbrother
You should have no issue with APO as it adheres to the us mail standards
Lichtbringer
If it is real - i wouldnĀ“t risk it. Ā But any plastic or rubber should be fine.Ā
Cbass59
Sorry for the delay in responding back. One of two things I will state. I have a close relationship with those from customs as our jobs are very similiar, spoke with them over the phone yesterday and they said no I cannot have it sent here.

I also came across this recent article as well in regards to shipping to an APO.

http://www.bavariannews.com/what-you-cant-send-through-an-apo-in-germany-and-why/

Cbass59
Also I've watched a few videos and looked over a few forums and after watching I feel like I have the skills to build a doopydoo resin kit.

However I've read that some kits are sturdy while others are like a Chinese Tea cup very fragile. Is that a batch thing or is there away to make it sturdy to were it came handle being dropped?
