Soundwave[501st]
For this submission I took the pointers given on my EIB submission. As a result I have replaced the velcro on the abdomen with elastic and snaps. Next was to shorten the elastic on the shoulder bells to bring them closer in to the shoulder bridges. The only part I had any difficulty with was the butt plate. I have erm...too much butt for the plate lol, and as a result I can't get it to sit 100% flush. Using a heat gun I managed to improve the curvature of the plate. However, when worn it just won't sit flush. Of course I'd be willing to try any tricks implemented successfully from anyone with the same problem!

justjoseph63[Staff]
Looking great, William! You should be sewing be able to sew a Centurion rocker patch on that new shirt when you get it! The only thing I would suggest is to paint over the weathering on the T-tracks of your blaster.. they should be solid black.
Soundwave[501st]
Thanks, Tig70 and justjoseph64! I'll break out the paint and get the tracks covered. Got a little carried away making it look worn.
Soundwave[501st]
Please forgive the use of cell photos, but I wanted to take a quick snap after covering up the weathering on the T-Tracks.
Sly11[Admin]
Hi William, thank you for your application and welcome to your Centurion review!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All submission photos are present. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Centurion, so Congratulations!! and welcome to the rank. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Excellent job overall on this armour, the change in strapping certainly has it sitting better on you, but just keep tweaking those butt straps. Sometimes a heavier gauge of elastic has been known to make a difference in holding parts tighter together. Good to see all the upgrades the Anovos requires, come together, you look fantastic. Congratulations Trooper, continue to make Garrison Tyranus proud!!

Soundwave[501st]
Woohoo! For ze Empire! Thanks, Sly11. I'm thinking for the butt plate I'll make an elastic belt going around my waist and connecting at the plate corners. Glad you guys pushed me to upgrade the strapping. Sooo much better than the velcro.

Thanks for the kind words, PBTrooper!
