Boozel
I wanted to just show this little project off that I worked on for a bit. It is a complete tear down and rebuild of the SADDEST Bucket I have ever seen. Unfortunately I was so disgusted by it (lol) that I didn't snap a complete before shot. This is the first one I took. As you can see it was a wreck , some of the stuff needing to be fixed: 1.Nickle sized hole in chin stripe that held a toggle switch 2. Aerator holes..I really don't know what to say, just look. 3. Back vents...um again, look. drilled out, super wide with screens and painted(badly) 4. holes drilled in the back base for battery holders....4 of them... 5. lenses 6. better brow trim 7. better aerators 8. cut 4th hole in frown 9. fix frown paint 10. correct tube stripes 11. paint ear caps...they were white 12. get rid of hard hat liner, and insert foam. Now, this is the extra stuff pulled from the inside: glue, silicone, electrical tape,DUCT TAPE???? I started with the task of filling the face plate holes in: I had to glue in disks to fill, and putty to smooth it out. Next was the rear vents: Patched the inside with ABS, used a glue/abs dust mixture, then putty. I figured they were being covered by new stickers, so they didn't have to be perfect. I then filled the battery rivet holes. After all was said and done it looked bad on the inside, so I did my customary black insides: And here is the patches pit on the inside of rear vents: Now the outside looked just as bad, so that was also painted, stickers put on and lenses put in. Boozel
All that was left was brow trim, neck trim, ear caps. the foam will be put in to fit the owner. Enjoy the finished pics, feel free to let me know what ya find wrong. I enjoyed this project immensely, a satisfaction that knowing it should have been tossed, and bringing it back to life. Let me know what ya think. Boozel

Boozel Mainly the wiring for the speakers really, I'm not sure which colors go where, it looks like the white is taped off in your photo and I can't make out the others. I'm leaving for work tonight and won't be back for a couple of weeks (weather permitting) so thanks in advance. Cheers

Murray1134[501st]
I see you added the screws on the sides of the ears. Seems like a lot of people don't do that. I had thought about doing that to mine. Have you picked up a new brow trim yet? I'm still looking for a better one than the foam rubber that came with the bucket. Actually the new stuff is on it in the finished pic. I bought it from a member here after it was dicussed a LONG time ago. Unfortunatley he is out, But I do have 1 strip I think. LMK by PM if you are interested in it. Thanks again for the kudos everyone. Means ALOT coming from this group. Boozel
