  1. Just mount your snaps on your piece of styrene, place them in a old pan on you stove top, low heat . Take them out of the pan when soft enough, place on a smooth flat surface and push down the edges with an oven mit.
  2. radude210, Run into the local Micheal's in Edmonton "they should have one Lethbridge does" and get E6000 there, they sell large tubes of it. Just ask a clerk, its easier than searching to store for it, and if nothing else they could order it in for you. Cheers
  3. It reminds me of the "Hills Have Eyes"......"towns folk"
  4. But I am a member. edit. needed 20 posts.
  5. I looked, where is the thread at RPF about "this" thread? Cheers
  6. Mainly the wiring for the speakers really, I'm not sure which colors go where, it looks like the white is taped off in your photo and I can't make out the others. I'm leaving for work tonight and won't be back for a couple of weeks (weather permitting) so thanks in advance. Cheers
  7. Its the Black one, I have it apart, the guts look just like the one in your pic.
  8. Hi Matt Can you post a clearer picture of the amp especially with the wiring, I just gutted my RS amp and I'm not sure how to go about it. Thanks
  9. I realize it's just a movie...however the water in the masher was quite dirty (by the looks of things)....so white before....dirty after, not a real big stretch, and nice of the Lucas group to notice something so minor, yet include it the "Movie". Cheers
  10. Again...CLEAN, any oily residue will cause Orange Peel. That is why the paint will not hold....ever try to mix oil and water??? Clean what you want to paint with a solvent (make sure it doesn't have a bad reaction with your plastic..ie melts it) follow the recommended painting procedure, you will be fine. Keep in mind that any Peel you uncover will have to be sanded down to plastic again otherwise you're fighting a up hill battle.
  11. Make sure whatever you're painting is CLEAN before you start.
  12. I have the nomex flight gloves. I can put my rubber chem gloves over them for that "screen" look, sans the sweat.
  13. The belt is clipped at the corners, about the canvas...good question. I would bet it's one long strap.
  14. I like the counter and the dodads with the wires attached....looks more sci-fi!
  15. Actually, they're just white pieces of ABS that hang off your belt.
  16. Get going on the Armor assembly pictures, Mines done but I'm sure I can get some ideas from you how to tweek it
  17. A good idea would be to make a sticky on fan and whatever else you want to place in your lid, but separate them into different versions. Especially RT from FX etc. since some have more room than others. Just my 2 pennies. Cheers
  18. Hi Rob, I received one of your suits in August, couldn't be happier. It was my first suit and put it together with no problems. Cheers Edit: I should add that I'm 6'1" 200-210lbs (it fluctuates ). It fits me perfect.
