Is ANOVOS Classic Storm Trooper Kit 501 Compliant?

Recommended Posts

in what way were they built wrong, im getting an RS kit to build and that post just made a bit nervous lol

Overlap instead of cover strips. Wrong webbing. Upside down buttons. Tubs stripes done backwards, or more than a pencil away. The anovos tk helm ooks like the used a carpenters pencil not a ...pencil...can we please add a bloody mm distance range please ;-), etc. It's easy to put a model kit together wrong. Right is hard. Wrong is easy. That's why we have so many more bad guys then good. Literally and in the movies . lots of tks, few rebels.

No kit is 501st complaint, no matter who makes it. I've seen the most "accurate kits" built wrong and denied for membership, EIB and centurion.

All you can do is purchase, build and submit. At this time there are no restrictions regarding this new kit from anovos, but that could change with time.

Exactly. You can make FX 501st acceptable, and make a TM kit unacceptable. The kits are able to be 501st compliant for sure and if you follow the instructions you get to 501st CRL criteria, though your GML will probably make you repaint the frown.

But Wyatt speaks the truth - it comes down to the quality of the build these days, not the kits so much.

I suppose the problems would only start if you were going for centurion , which is above and beyond 501 acceptance . Will the Anavos helmet need replacing for centurion ... Is it the. " new FX " ??
We will have to wait and see when the builds start getting finished .

So far nobody has stated any concern with the helmet being able to achieve Centurion with some work.

We will find out soon, as I have it on very good authority that a build which was done with Centurion approval as the goal has submitted for Legion approval today.
