Trskel[TK] Posted April 28, 2008 Report Share Posted April 28, 2008 (edited) Last weekend I attended with the Spanish Garrison to the 5th Lleida Lan Party at Lleida (Lérida). About 900 people brought their computers and connected them in a huge local network and enjoyed many activities during the weekend. Our participation was a surprise. On Saturday morning, at 12:25, suddenly all 900 participants recived an SMS message saying: "Get ready. You are about to be invaded", and a video of the millenium falcon landing on the Party's parking lot was proyected on the big screen over the stage. Then a live band started playing the Imperial March and we came out to the amazement of everybody, walked around all the premises and went up to the stage, were we met the Major of Lérida and other authorities. During Saturday and Sunday we patroled the party, seek rebels and other rogue creatures, and maintained the order of the Empire. We had a lot of fun!
