Hand guard precision for Centurion

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I know the hand guards should be latex or "latex-like" material. I'm not sure what "latex-like" means really.

On Trooperbay (and elsewhere), I've seen plain latex hand guards, which need to be painted white. But they also have white rubber hand guards that don't need painting and won't crack.  Are the latter acceptable for Centurion level?  Or do we really need the plain, painted ones?

Thanks

Is this not to do with people who have an latex allergy?

Yes, i believe that's why this semantic was implemented in the first place.

And Stephane, to answer your question, the white Rubber ones are perfectly approvable as long as they're flexible. The painted Latex way is just more accurate.

Get Karin's handguards with the gloves she supplies at the same time. Those gloves are great. Just make sure you wear a inner cotton/lycra liners with them.
