Hey Marcus! Looking sweet brother! Maybe raise your forearms a hair to get rid of a little more elbow gap and adjust your thigh pack(although not necessary) so it covers the ridge on the bottom of your thigh. Good luck! I wish you the best with your application! :jc_doublethumbup:

Hi Marcus!  Your armor is looking great!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post here or not.  If not, then I apologize in advance for it!  I'm building an NE suit myself, and looking at your submission pics, I have some suggestions for your build.  These may or may not affect Centurion approval, but I wanted to let you know changes I believe would improve the over-all look:

- Installing an elastic strap between the bicep and forearm would remove the gap you currently have and keep them both in place.

- Both of your forearm pieces look rather large.  I saw the amount of padding you had put in them, and was thinking that you could fit those more to your arms.

- You could cut the ab piece at the bottom of the left side so it doesn't come to a point and goes straight over to where the bottom of the kidney piece is.  It looks like you cut that point off on the right side, and I believe you'd be able to cut it off on the left side without interfering with the bottom rivet spacing.

- I know it's already attached, but the extra that you have at the top and bottom of the battery pack around the thigh makes that piece quite wide.  The extra should be cut off like you did with the extra on the top and bottom of the belt plastic, if possible.

- There's some extra flashing around the butt plate that i feel could be removed.

Good luck with the Centurion approval!

Awesome build! Although it appears you have made all the changes Steve pointed out in your EIB thread, I concur with Ron above for the overall look to be improved. (Ron, yes you can post here! There aren't any requirements, but you will be centurion soon enough)

I would also add that the curve on the thigh ammo pack should be greater. A good guide is to stand the TD up on it and mark the curve with a pencil and then cut. Also your sniper plate could be positioned and the sides cut better so that it really looks seamlessly attached to the top molded edge of the shin. Again, these are cosmetics and may not even affect approval.

Overall you are centurion worthy and it will be good to see another NE build make the ranks.

Good luck!

Alright Marcus! Great to see your Centurion application. I kind of expected to but still great to see it! Let's take a look!!!!

CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:

All Centurion required submission photos (and then some) have been posted! The corrections you have done have come along way to the overall look of your armor. Your helmet looks outstanding, between the new screws and the trimmed clips your thermal detonator shines, and the little extra you took off the corners of your belt makes a nice balance there. It is in the details...and you nailed it! Welcome, Sir, to Centurion!!!

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

Although this same category exists in EIB threads, it is repeated here because Centurion applications reveal many details not seen in most EIB applications. Remember, these are suggestions to further improve your armor and do not affect your application:

There was talk mentioned regarding your thigh pack and the corners. Perhaps a bit more could be taken off the corners. What I would adjust is the top to bottom width. Like the waist belt, there should be minimal space left above and below the thigh pack boxes.

If you decide that this is something you want to tackle, the end cap of your Thermal Detonator is a good source for curved corner. I have scribbled out some suggestions of what could be removed on your thigh.

I don;t have a picture of it, but I would knock down the little sharp overhang of your sniper plate over the edge of the shin. These should be fairly even with the molded ridge on the shin itself.

And then there is that super sharp corner on your left side at the rivet seam. ????? Tell me that doesn't get caught on everything??

I do want to say what an improvement to your blaster it was to knock the gold down on the scope. Like your armor, it looks great!!

Congratulations again!!!
