Marvinrobot
Wondering if you all had any further opinions on these boards. I know the TIC is fairly new. Basically, I have a decision to make between a TE2 helemt (I know what Guns would say) and spending bucks to add sound to my current big bucket. I'm pretty sure the new bucket shold be priority but I wanted to get you alls advice.
Bigturc
I'm definitely sold RomFX, this thing is the difference between a cool costume and an awesome costume!!! I have to add that I've never heard anything else, so I may be biased a little Oh and I would like to add that if the question is: Do I buy a sound board, or update my FX helmet to a TE2? .. then scratch the poll and get a TE2
ManInWhite
It depends which one you are more hard up on having? You can always get an effects board and install it in the FX. Then later on upgrade to a TE2 and take the effects board out of the FX and install into the TE2. Or just get both and install an effects board into the TE2 and be done with it . I currently don't have a effects board and not sure if I will anytime soon.
RBJ[501st]
...get the TE2 and a cheepo amp (radio shack, wal mart thingie..) ..I would upgrade the outside, before tricking out the inside!

Marvinrobot
I see a common trend here...If you are going to do it, do it right.
Daetrin[Admin]
Helmet first, sound second. You left off a few other options for sound, like Bommar and Skullworx...

And I would also say you could add Eric's Trikboard (from Triktoys). I have never used the others, but this one works rather well. I have been very happy with mine. Darth_Nickel
I'm pretty happy with my Skullworx Unit and the Triktoys board. Actually... very happy. The hyperdyne sounded great, but it was a lot harder to use.

Win/Win. The trik toys board doesn't exactly compare to the RomFX. The RomFX has a built-amp, and is about the same size as the trik toys one. The trick toys board needs an additional amp, which takes up too much space.
TK-4510[TK]
I dont have an amp, but I would have to get a decent bucket first. Then I would get the effects going...
