Loading Area - Can anyone offer advice on this ebay armour supplier?

Hi,

 

This guy is selling armour on ebay in the UK and I'm just wondering if anyone has dealt with him or knows if his kit is good/bad or recast. It's hard to tell from the picture but it doesn't look too bad!

I'm sure I've read about him before here on FISD but can't find the post or remember what was said.

Don't know them, but they're most likely recast. Stay away from the 'bay in general.

if he's made armor for the UK garrison... can any UK garrison member chime in here and tell us about this vendor?

 

aluminum moulds and high quality abs does not sound so bad.

 

all we'd need to confirm is if it's been recast? it's possible that it comes from cap?

As far as I know, LA is a TE2 recast. Looking at the pulls displayed certainly indicates so too.

I think its a recast of the armour SDS are producing!

I have one, bought a couple of years ago.

It's a TE2 recast with a ROTJ helmet. Casted in level two white ABS (not blueish), is very flexible even though it has a good thickness.

The guy is very gentle and honest on his price. The bad thing is it's a recast with very smooth details in some points.
