OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 So in order from the top would be 1. one of those awesome custom made ones 2. the Hyperfirm and then the doopy's or the sds??? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Well, you'll likely not find one of the really awesome ones for sale. The rest is easy and up to you and your wallet. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 yeah, I'm leaning towards the Doppy Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 That's what I would get if I got a new blaster. Right now I'm sitting on one SDS and a very special Blastech Armories, all metal, moving parts, limited run E-11, from a very talented old man in Germany. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 That sound really good, I saw the SDS's , I wonder why people are skeptical of his products, the blaster look pretty decent to me Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 It's not all bad, but it's lacking the rear D-ring, cocking handle and the castings is not as sharp as they could be. It has some quality issues simply. For the price they charge I've come to expect better quality. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 True, I bet if they were just a bit more affordable they would sell tons Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 So the best ways are still either doopydoos or hyperfirm. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 Thanks Man, appreciate it, I think I might give the Doopydoos a try Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 3, 2012 Author Report Posted February 3, 2012 I will be cool though to have a list of all the options available out there!! Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 6, 2012 Author Report Posted February 6, 2012 I was looking at the Doppy's resin kit, and it seems that it doesn't come with the scope rail, is there a place this could be bought or a tutorial how to make one? Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 Just get an aluminum rail and bend it. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted February 6, 2012 Report Posted February 6, 2012 (edited) oso... all the details you'll find in the blaster builds section of this forum. you can even pay me and I'll build up a kit that I have sitting here ready to go! Edited February 6, 2012 by TK Bondservnt 2392 Quote
Darth Hilarious Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 ^^ This guy right here- If you get him to build you a blaster, it'll be GOOD. Nay, GREAT. He knows his Sterlings and Blastechs quite well. Incidentally, he also makes scope rails. Quote
Lichtbringer Posted February 7, 2012 Report Posted February 7, 2012 But there can never be the same pride in a bought piece, as in a selfbuild blaster. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 Does anyone knows if the Doppydoos kit can be shipped into Canada??? Quote
MartinSivertsen[501st] Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 I don't see any reason why not, it's the same as a model kit, so there shouldn't be any problems. Go for it! Quote
Locitus[Admin] Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Would be a lot easier to get a kit across the border than a finished blaster. That's for sure. Quote
OsotheBear Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 Yeah, that's what I thought, maybe as a kit and labeled scale model or sci-fi prop , I sent them a email , just to see how fast do they answer Quote
OsotheBear Posted March 8, 2012 Author Report Posted March 8, 2012 Good News, the Doopydoos resin kit came in the mail this week with no problem at Canada customs, so at least for Canada the Doppy option is available . http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=18850 Quote
