I would like to make a suggesting that the forum search flood control be changed to allow searches of less than 4 characters.

 

Here is an example. I was trying to find a thread on the RT-Mod bucket (I knew it was out there, but not where) The user that posted didn't type out RT-MOD, they used RT MOD. The search feature will not allow someone to search on RT or MOD since there is a limit of 4 characters for searching.

good call! I would imagine the flood control also prohibits searches of terms like "TE, AP, etc..."

I've had a difficult time finding topics I knew I looked at before. All I get is the "Sandy Brothers" thread or nothing at all.

There is an advanced search. Click on the "click for menu" and there is a search tab.

Actually it is set to 2 characters - Greg (V'Pier) would have to explain why your search is not working.
