Jorran
I'm getting close to gluing all of the Doopy attachments to my Hasbro mod, and I noticed that there are two holes/gaps on the muzzle attachment. I've been looking at as many reference pictures as I can find, and it looks like there are bolts on the movie prop in those holes. Can someone tell me what type and size of bolts/screws/widgets/etc. go in those two gaps?
sskunky
There are two hex key bolts in the holes. I'll have to measure mine on my Sterling when I'm back from work.
Smitty
I'm not sure of the exact size but the bolts are allen bolts with bolt heads about a quarter inch in diameter.

Jorran
One follow-up: for those that added these screws to the Hasbro with a Doopy Doo kit, did you screw them into the resin muzzle tip, or did you cut off the threads and just glue the screw heads onto the tip? I'm leaning towards the latter because (since I've never worked with resin before) I'm afraid that I'll split the resin piece if I try to screw them in. Smitty
Prolly the best move is to drill a hole in the resin piece about the same size as the shaft of the screw. If the hole you drill happens to be a little bit too large and the screw is loose a dab of glue on the screw threads will make it all better. Or if you have a tap kit, drill and tap a hole that match the screw threads and then just screw the screw into the threaded hole. Resin is easily machined like that. Just drill and tap slowly because it is plastic and high speed tools can do more melting than cutting if you get carried away.
Evolver79[TK]
I took the Doopy muzzle tip w/ me to Home depot to make sure the bolt fit perfectly, I cut the head of it off w/ a Dremel and used E6000 to glue them on. I t worked perfectly!!! Hope my two cents helps!
