  1. Pressure on people... People on streets!

  2. VERY NICE!! I'm in that mode myself now. I still need to drop another 20 or so pounds but I'm on my way. What did you do to lose all that weight?
  3. My gf's and my shoulders are done via thick elastic connecting both shoulders that goes over the back behind the neck. Thanks to missingpieces for the image above.
  4. Found these on my garrison boards: --------------
  5. Crap, I was wrong yesterday. We did trim one more thing. We trimmed the ab piece. I removed about an inch and a half from where the cod meets the ab plate. Then again, Olga is 5'4 so at 5'6 she might be alright. Probably also might help for her to buy some lifts for her boots too.
  6. Depending on what armor she's got there she won't need to. The only things I had to trim on Olga's ATA armor were the forearms. Everything else lined up pretty perfectly. The forearms were just really huge.
  7. Throw an insole in them and they'll be a perfect fit.
  8. Welcome to the FISD! You came to the right place for all the info you need to know about Stormtroopers. I recently built my girlfriend's armor and it took a TON of modding to get it to fit her right. I'm pretty sure she's 5'4, but with everything on including insole risers, she's around 5'7. I don't have very many pics of the process because it was kind of a secret, but if you have any questions I'll try and help you out.
  9. These look pretty good. They're also wider methinks. That'll make a few of my fellow troopers happier.
  10. So I guess that's the difference between the stunt and hero neck seals. What do you think?
  11. Looks like rubber to me as well. It's got that dull dirty look to it. Reminds me of my grandfather's old rubber dive fins.
  12. Edge tooth looks painted to me. Besides that, the shape of the helmet is completely different.
  13. Yeah that guy is hilarious. Has anyone come up with a nickname for Mopeyface yet?
  14. Are you sure they were painted? From some stuff I've seen it looks as if they were an actual different type of boot from the ANH and ESB ones. To me, they honestly just look dirty. I've had my fair share of white soled shoes and that's exactly what they look like after a few years of abuse.
  15. I mounted mine at just around 4 as well. Might have been just the beginning of the fourth. Then again, I am bigger than your average trooper so...
  16. They're actually a bit above the 1/2 inch mark and I can squeeze it in to barely anything once it's on. The problem is that I've got the harness and everything under so it's a PITA to snap the sides if I make the elastics any tighter. I didn't want to go with making any shims for the sides since I've been gradually losing weight. I'd rather not have to go back and change things up once I get to my goal weight. If the sides are a problem I can revisit this later once I've shaved off more weight. Or if I can figure out another way to close the gaps once I have the suit on. Gaffer tape maybe?
  17. Nice grabs! I would however argue that the boots are likely the same for hero and stunt troopers. They look like they're a white color, just dirty from running around in all that dirt.
  18. I thought this image was interesting...
  19. Also, if you have a set of the old ones it'll be nice to see some comparison shots.
  20. I'm sure there are more people qualified to answer this but I like the way mine look at around a quarter of an inch from the ammo part of the belt.
  21. Interesting. Please post pics anyone who gets a new set. I'm trying to decide whether or not to go jodhpurs or a set of tk boots for my next pair.
  22. I have some pretty nice split rivets I can send your way. PM me with your info and I'll try to get them to you.
  23. Any idea of what the "new design" looks like??
  24. I believe it's Stormtrooper armor.
