  1. I'm sorry Nathan, You wanted a cog! I thought you said "a helmet and hooters"! -------------- T
  2. Howzit amigo, I am truly disappointed. I'm sorry to hear that they didn't select you. Nothing I can add to what already has been said bro, it hurts. (Molotov cocktails might be in order though... ) Obviously, the interviewer didn't see the potential in you and that's their loss. Hang tough bro. Aloha, T
  3. Oh geesh! I'm sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, the rising cost of petroleum-based products is really hurting everyone. Imagine this, if it ain't made here in Hawaii, it's gotta be shipped in. The major shipping firm here just announced a rate increase so everything here in Hawaii will be that much more expensive in the days to come. And not even mentioned the gas prices... Take care bro, don't get discouraged. T
  4. Greetings gang, Mike A. has been a constant light that shines here on The FISD. Through the work of his hands, he has blessed many with beautiful helmets, provided us witty bander, and has shared invaluable information and photos. He has been and friend and supporter of all here. Especially me, while I continue to convalesce from my back injury and battle with depression. I owe Michael a great deal. For all who know him and care for him, please say a prayer for him as he ventures out today. He needs our blessings. Aloha & God bless all, T
  5. Actually, all this is a really a mute point isn't it. Mike has decided to go with CAboots and I applaud his decision. I own two pair (one for TD, one for TK) and have had no problems with them so far in my brief trooper career... T "Knocks on head for continued good luck..."
  6. Greetings everyone, I can't believe that it's been more than a month since I posted or even visited the FISD. It appears that announcing my return was very, very premature. I'm sorry. I also must apologize to those great troopers who, regardless of me NOT replying to their emails, continue to send me their best wishes. Unfortunately, by attempting to return too early I reinjured my back however, more serious than that I became severely depressed and I'm currently battling this darkness today. My heart-felt thank you to all who contributed to the care package I received from Mike A. I opened the box and wept at all the goodies. However, I just haven't had the heart to pick up or even look at those items since. I'm sorry. I have been communicating with several friends and I think I'm making progress. So please accept my apologies to those troopers that I have not answered directly. I just don't have "it" in me at the moment. God bless, TGuns

  8. Hi gang, I started back to work Monday in a limited duty status. (Got called by a lieutenant from internal affairs today...boy, that was fun.) So I come home today and find this large box sitting on the couch! You guys are FANTASTIC! I must have cried on Faye's shoulder for at least 15 - 20 minutes...you guys are WONDERFUL. I was wondering about all these little packages I was receiving the last week or so and BAM, this big one appears today. I kept telling Faye, NO, IT'S NOT EBAY! I wish I could say I'm better, perhaps I was pushing a little too hard to get back on my feet. Besides the constant pain in my lower back, I'm experiencing numbness in both legs and both hands. Add to the mix a severe bout with depression, well, you guys get the picture - I guess the care package opened the door to all my feelings and I just had to let it out. I kinda feel that I let you guys down...Also, I found out this weekend that a really close friend of mine (and some of you) is in ill health so I've been really worrying about him lately. But I'm very much aware of ALL my blessings and I include all of you when I say that. Thank you. Thank you all for being so generous with your time and concern for my well-being. When I have the opportunity I'll get some photos posted. Thank you. Mike, it looks like you were the head cheese on this...thank you amigo. Thank you so much. To all who gave, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You're all too AWESOME! Warmest aloha & God bless, always! Tony
  9. Greetings my friends, Is there a HI-REZ image available of the FISD logo that I might be able to get a copy of for my upcoming web site? T
  10. The word is JEALOUSY... Some people despise the very thought of others finding total joy and purpose in what they do. Talk me down, call me a geek...doesn't matter - I enjoy my TE Armor and I find great satisfaction in bringing smiles to others, young & old. For those who understand, understand. For those who don't, pity. T
  11. 1. I was 20 years old at the time. 2. The year was 1977. 3. Can't remember the name of the theatre. 4. Sacramento, California. 5. Interesting info: A couple of months later I would be celebrating my 21st birthday at an airport lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International, heading out to my first overseas assignment at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. T
  12. Yer helmet's in da mail son! T
  13. Ha ha! I just voted. I guess I'm the oldest here amongest you "children"... Just call me "Pops" Gun! T
  14. Muahhahhahahhaaaa! Big Brother knows all.... T
  15. Hi gang, Anyone going to Wizard World L.A. on March 15th? My favorite Terminator, actress Summer Glau will be there to sign autographs. I'm sure you know where this request is heading. Let me know. Aloha, T
  16. I know this belongs on another thread, (trying to beat the birthday droid!) but TK-4510 has done such a fabulous job these past few weeks with his amazing TE2 helmet tutorials that I just had to wish him the "bestest" birthday today! Happy Birthday Mike! From your numero ono fan in Hawaii! T
  17. You guys are truly awesome. I'm really really fortunate to have so many friends here. Thank you so much. Your words of encouragement provide strength and your funny side comments give me a smile...thanks. You guys are awesome! T
  18. Hi gang, Mesa back!!! Thank you all for the prayers and for all the well wishes. Really - I cried after reading them. Thank you all! A special thank you to Paul for passing on the information, a true friend. And very special thank you to my wife Faye for putting up with my testosterone-driven cop, damn the torpedoes, type-A personality. It was pretty stupid for me to get involved in that foot pursuit... I'm running on Tylenol with Codeine and DOLE Pineapple Orange Banana 100% juice which makes the pain tolerable so I'll get to everyone's emails as soon as I can - please be patience. Thanks again everyone - you guys are truly "wonderful." Aloha & God bless, Tony SAGUN
  19. On July 13, 2007, TM posted a reply to my request for ESB Blaster Specifications. Here's the link that he provided: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=1653 According to the information on the RPF post, the featured blaster was used in ESB. Personally, if I can get away with a stripped down Sci-fire hyperfirm E-11 blaster to gain my ESB Elite Status, (and my Scott M. decals) that certainly would save me a lot of grief...and I would most certainly order a blaster from Sci-fire tomorrow if the FISD Powers sez it was kool. T
  20. so, there are no greebles now? Gremblies yes: The gremblies resembled arrow tips. No HENGSTLER Counter though. Scene from the Carbonite Freezing Chamber. Beautiful photo no? T ePS: Slave1pilot or Slavefive sent me a great Sci-fire hyperfirm E-11 blaster that resembles the one pictured. Notice the barrel with the "stud" instead of the bottom T-track - I just didn't have the heart to remove the counter. However, I was informed last year that did would build one for me sans the counter. Now, if I could only locate those blasted gremblies...ESB, ESB, ESB.
