I really hate this picture...poor lighting and it was the very first time I wore this suit (and still have the FX thighs)... But this is what an ANH set looks like on me (I'm about 5'6). Here's what FX looks like on someone 5'6" (me)... (note: the helmet is not FX). Wish I had more pictures to show how big FX was on me.

What are Forced Unleashed Stormtroopers
ItsThatGuy replied to Daetrin's topic in Stormtrooper Commander
I think the TK was just for a particular squad of Stormtroopers on part of the Death Star. Not all stormtroopers would have been TK....Weren't there supposed to be 100's of thousands of them? TK-1998943, Why aren't you at your post?....would seem rediculous. In the Holiday Special there was a Stormtrooper that had a different designation... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/B-4711 -
I'm right there with you...I'm about 5'6". I bought lifts similar to these...these actually look better than the ones I bought. ----- The lifts are good, but if you are in armor for a while (for hours) they start to hurt your heels. Your boots will have a heel on them, then you have the lifts and the helmet will give you another inch or so. Even with the lifts, I still hear "Aren't you a little short to be a Stormtrooper." Which doesn't bother me anymore. People say the lines that they know - like "Luke, I am your father!" or they will ask where random characters are... "Where's Yoda?" "Where's Han Solo?" .... some of that gets old really fast.

A special pic.. for you all on this Happy New Year
ItsThatGuy replied to a topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
Ball point pen? Hmmm... interesting. -
I had more of an issue with the onepeice - it was very uncomfortable for me, it would ride up if you did any kind of arm movement. I love Wyatt's shirt - neckseal combo. I never have to worry about the neckseal coming untucked either.

Master Replicas Hero Helmets..
ItsThatGuy replied to Trooper Q2's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
After seeing that image - it looks too much like a stunt to be called a hero... -
Why don't you want a two piece? I hated the one piece. I have a set of the Underarmour summer pants and a set of the Underarmour winter pants. And for the top, I have one of Wyatt's shirt/neckseal combos. I love the fact that I can just wear the Underarmour pants under my jeans on my way to a troop, since we are normally changing in public (parking lots...)

I looked on StarWarshelmets.com first... but I was thinking maybe just that one didn't have any backing, or maybe after the years it fell off... It makes sense though. They wouldn't need to have anything covering the holes. With us, you really only see in the helmet, because you were up close to people and because of flash photography.

Effects Boards
ItsThatGuy replied to Marvinrobot's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
The trik toys board doesn't exactly compare to the RomFX. The RomFX has a built-amp, and is about the same size as the trik toys one. The trick toys board needs an additional amp, which takes up too much space. -
So what about ESB .... and as for the hood, I was looking at the making of starwars book, and that's right most of the actors didn't have one...

Oh a balaclava - makes perfect sense now! BTW - that about picture is of Joe Johnston. Thanks everyone! Now the question becomes for my next bucket that I am working on (TE HDPE), should I make it as accurate as possible or use screen (as I have with my past buckets) to make sure you can't see in as easily....

Effects Boards

Agreed! -
I know that the original helmets had their frowns vented, but what was put behind them? Was it screen or a dark/black cloth or was anything there at all? Anyone have any reference pictures? And was it a different method for each film?

I'm glad everyone likes it! I'm glad I could be of some help (even if I did spell Christmas wrong... ) That's the only one that I have. If I had more, I'd post them! Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I know I did! -

Armor Transport
ItsThatGuy replied to Ketariniii's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
------- I have that one, but without wheels. It's $10 cheaper without wheels. When I bought my box, I wanted wheels, but that was the only thing big enough at the time that was available. Fits all, but my helmet. It's the max. size for most airplanes too without being charged extra. -
A piece fell off my bucket, I need a replacement
ItsThatGuy replied to tk4679's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Hey bud, You might want to have this moved to the For Sale threads. Hope this helps: ----------- I know Ward can sometimes help with replacments. But you might wanna wait to see if someone has any extras to give away. -
Our Garrison was invited to attend...but I don't plan on participating or attending. Too cold and too far of a trip, it would still be fun though.

Yep! Looks great! I need to get one!
