Hey all, for those of you near LA, there is going to be a 24 hour line in front of a movie theater in westwood, called the bruin (i think). Come on out, in armor or not, i will not be in armor as i don't have any. But if you need to find more info, you could check out the liningup.net website. I haven't read all the posts in this thread, but my friends football coach would make them eat jars (not all in one day but over the course of say a month) of peanut butter. The fat and protien in that is probably good to put on a few pounds. I would also suggest working out and drinking protein shakes. Muscle weighs more than fat and such, but you are going to need some fat, to be able to build up the muscle.... ah the catch 22 of weight gain. I feel you man, i'm 6'3'' and 150 lbs, fast metabolism for the win!

As for losing your money, you can always go through ebay's steps to get your money back. It's really not that much work, if you have nothing better to do that is.

heck yes you would. I bet they're all black briefs to go with the under armor, or something with the imp cog on em, or maybe just one imp cog right on the crotch'll region. I'm willing to have to wear certain underwear for RotJ elite status, seeing as there are no RotJ elite status requirements on the link i clicked. Maybe under wear should be one of them!

I have not been around FISD or the 501st nearly as long as some of you, nor have i been involved in ANY troops. However, the future star wars fans are changing, I was in toys R Us today with my gf, looking at star wars toys, and as i walked away I heard a child probably about seven years old, say something like "Wow, new star wars toys, this one looks much cooler than that one from the movies" (referring to the jump trooper from FU). Let's face it, the look of star wars is changing, even that new Clone Wars movie that is coming out, the animation is different. I think in order to keep new members coming in to the 501st and FISD, we need to accept the new FU troopers, I'm pretty sure i saw them in a comic, game and toys, that's 3 sources. I do not think that they should have TK designation, just like sand troopers, which are just dirty TK don't have a TK designation. I do think it's important though to accept this new look and give it a place in the FISD/501st, spec ops would probably be the best location. Just my two cents! Thanks.

Was in Target or Toys R Us today looking at some of the star wars action figures and saw the Jump Trooper from the upcoming Force Unleashed game. Was wondering if they qualify for 501st yet? Or what the deal with them is? Has there been any discussion on it? -----------

I was wondering what the best way to start getting involved with the 501st. Preferably the least expensive way, whether modding a blaster, or purchasing a helmet. I'm just really bored, and would love to be doing something constructive that will also save time later, once i get my actual armor. Thanks for all the help.
