  1. I had a miserable time dealing with CO so never again. I got his Trooper armor AND Vader armor and both were utter crap. I was promised recompense which I never got. Instead I got a fish story about Cam being suicidal and jumping off of a ferry boat. I took a HUGE loss on the crap that was CO trooper and Vader armor
  2. Hi guys Is SKULLWORX still around? As long as Ive been checking out their site the SOLD OUT status hasnt changed and I (may have missed it) but wasnt finding contact info?
  3. Heving now seen and studied this up close and personal all I can say is STAY AWAY The helmet is HORRID and unsalvageable The suit looks like it was molded off of a suit left next to a space heater the 'trim' is molded in and about twice teh size it should be this armor is truly horrid
  4. Yup, I won a second set on Ebay for my second lid Buyer id is Zell4u sent you the auction number and info in em thnx Don
  5. Mark Are you 'toonman' on eBAY? Im asking because I won a set of decals in eBay and paid but havent heard anything or received them. If thats you PLMK and Ill be patient. Now hurry up and get well....
  6. from what I understand this will have a 'frontier' feel to it so to me that sounds more like firefly then then what we know as Star Wars. It really sounds like a lawless western theme...the empire trying to establish its hold while the outer rim planets try to keep living like they had and stay under the radar. I would love to see a Deadwood type crimelord like Al Shwerigan
  7. well, first of all it doesnt take place in between ANH and ESB. It takes place between SITH and ANH...and according to folks I know that are involved Boba Fett will have a significant part. Whether we see Ep3 clones, TKs or (probably) something in between remains to be seen. Msot of teh writers and creative folks are italian and apparently Lucas is going for a sergio leone/spaghetti western feel. Lucas has also brought HBOs 'DEADWOOD' up several times as a heavy influence.
  8. Ack...problem NOT solved...problem is as long as its ambiguous my grey lenses work...people go posting good proof shots and now I gotta come up with GREEN bubble lenses.....lol
  9. Any more info on that helmet? Its very interesting but I would need more info on the helmet.
  10. or this one...its a little cleaner
  11. ---------------- Will that work?
  12. really diggin it....cant wait to finish mine. The FX bubble lenses fit nicely although I think Ill build up inside around te eyes for a better surface. Still waiting on my decals and brow trim. My kneepads arrived from teh UK for the padding and I think I may go with Skullworks. Are you going to add the works to the inside? Fans, etc?
  13. Mark, tried to PM but your inbox is full. Checking on status of my decals for my CE. PLMK status. Don
  14. lol...THEY arent a strange shape they are symeterical and thats what was throwing me. Remember the best side of the helmet was scanned then recreated and Im thinking more and more that MR went with the opposite side that they went with on DP C/A. Instead of two SQUINTY eyes we have two WIDE eyes wherein on the original we have one squinty and one wide. Looking at the helmet it looks like they tooj the right side and mirrored it...thats also why the frown looks a little weird at the peak. I think MR did a much better job of providing Symetery AND still looking 'right' then DP did OPPOSITE
  15. Looks awesome...Im still waiting on my decals....soon as my Hero is done Im going to start work on the 'stunt'...kind of addictive.....
  16. 1) How long have you been a fan of Star Wars? Since 1977. I was 11 years old and my dad took me to see it opening weekend. 2) What first made you a fan of the franchise/ Watching a Star Destroyer go on forever on a 70 MM screen at the UA150 theater in Seattle. I was hooked 3) What got you into costuming? I was ALWAYS in to costuming. Before Star Wars it was Star Trek, Batman and Logans Run 4) What function does the Internet play in being a fan? It vastly increases the resources and the commeraderie available to us as fans. We receive instant feedback and gratification when we share concepts, exchange ideas or play show and tell. It lets even those in the hinterlands share in the collective fannish experience.
  17. Where? Ive seen teh argument on a lot of boards with a lot of folks saying they have definitive photographic proof one way or the other but nothing concrete either way. I guarantee you if it WAS a known fact MR would have gone that way. Ive seen compelling evidence for both so until Hamill says 'come over to my house and look at my helmet' im going with 'they are either 'grey or green' I see green on the stunts when I watch the movie but I see grey on the heroes. Ive seen the 'glint' photos people use for the green argument but those simply arent enough. Ainsworth, regardless of his other BS, says he used grey just as he does on his current HEROES. On all of his *ahem* proto helmets he also used grey not green so, unless someone has a hero in hand with pics then the case is not closed.
  18. You shouldnt state things that are still being debated as actual fact. Matter of fact if you look at all of the 'prototype' helmets that Ainsworth made the flat lenses are green but the bubbled lenses are all grey...so youre statement is misleading stating something as fact that is still up in the air. Thats the reason MR made BOTH because there IS no clear cut answer as far as ANH
  19. FX Bubble lenses fit but you have to cut down the posts
  20. My next is going to be a shadow trooper. Im going to do another MR CE mod in to a shadow trooper. Cheaper then an LE with the same look and beats the heck out of FX
