yea i would take some off of the bottom of the shins. i also put some loop velcro going from the thigh to the shin . its no more visible then any other kind of straping and its 100% pain free

you might have seen mine already but here it is. the padding i got from the ukebay site even though im from the us. for the little mechanical parts i used a jet engine model kit i had from a long time ago. i used some wires i found in an old dvd player and speakers from bad headphones. the fan i got from radioshack. i just got a cpu fan and soldered it to a 9v clip thing. i didnt bother butting on an on/off switch because i just unplug it when i dont use it and it works fine. and yes it still fits

i get stuff like that sometimes. people that think they are so much better than us and talk about us like that. we are no different then the football fans who go to games painted in team colors with no shirt on in 30 degree weather for 4 hours. they are worse in my opinion. at least we do it for charity. that guy has no soul. i guess we just arent acceptable members of society because we use what we love to help make others lives better through charity, right?

there were a couple. haha one time a man came up to me and was sooooo exited and said "WOW!!! i love star wars how about you gu... !!! oh. haha he noticed right away of course we love star wars another time one of my friends from high school ended up working at a comic shop that we trooped at for free comic book day. when he figured out i was in the 501st and saw my tk he treated me like a celebrity. it was great. i always love it when people go crazy over my voice changer. there like "oh no way you sound just like him" or treat me like a real stormtrooper. ahh. i love it. good times. good times.

haha yes we cant see that far down. that is sooo true. thats is actually a very good reason and believable too. if we couldnt see far up enough to duck walking in a door how are we supposed to see teddy bears. that would explain how the snowtroopers won. they had NORMAL sized targets.

haha. yea i heard gl wanted to make it a wookie planet originaly but he didnt know if he could pull it off or something like that or it didnt fit in the story right. maybe the troopers just didnt want to hurt the little guys. haha. would you shoot a little puppy if it came tried to beat you up.

thanks for the kind words guys. the stuff atoung the eyes came with the new lenses i got for the felmet but one of them started to come off so i had to reglue it. but it really comfortable inside now. i feel like someone could really punch me now and it wouldnt hurt (not that i would want them to. haha) it is a little harder to get on now but i just put it on before i put on my bicept peices (for more menouverability to put my helmet on) and its fine. but its worth it

i actually did get it. its black screen like for a door but i havnt put it in yet. i was scared you would be able to see my mouth. and if i did two layers i thought it would look weird

ok i just spent a while working on the inside of my helmet, painting, sanding, glueing, and fitting. it was alot of fun and here it is. ilike how it came out and i took some pics real quick. the new tubes go from the earators to the speakers (near where the ears go). its saposed to look like an audio system (even thought it doesnt funtion (even though a real system would fit in here great). anyway yea... focused on the audio system line (the aerator to the tube to the blue/black casint then wire and ear) overall helmet and two closeeups on the chin detail sorry for so many pics but it was hard to chuse just one or two

it looks cool. your going to have to put the brow trim prety low on that. looks like a fun project though. what helmet do you wear for trooping

well i was thinking since i made my helmet look functional why leave the rest of the armor out. so i set to work so far ive done the pack plate. it has a power pack, extra air (2 minutes), AvC (audio- visual comunications system), and CCP (climate controle panel). here are some pics full view panels and the power pack and oxygen canister close up audio visual comunication- i tried to use stuff that people could obviosly pic out as audio and video imputs for the avc panel to make it seem more believable. climate controle and power pack- the small grey canister is where the air is held and it is directly conected to the power pack so if the suit should loose power the spair air would automatically kick in. it is conected to the climate controle panel through that grey wire going across, conecting the two panels (all grey wires are used for climate control and detection [the copper thing in the middle of the circle is the climate sensor which is hooked up to the avc panel so it is transmited to the helmet and then the lenses so the trooper can keep an eye on the atmosphere at all times]). the yellow thing is the power pack which is conected to the avc/ccp with the two white wires (one white wire brings power to the avc system, and the other to the ccp system). in case you wanted to know the pack still fits fine. i mounted it in the hole so it would sit flush. here is the inside of my helmet (i have posted this pic before) any feedback or suggestions would be awesome

aww man i couldnt stand zero. but mainly just because of his voice. he wouldnt have ben 1/10 as bad without that voice. i liked jar jar more than him. but i still loved the movie

wow how did you do that any certain mods like cutting the cod and butt plate or did you just cutting it you fit you really well

i saw it today too. incase no one else noticed on the side of a couple of the ships there was a huge picture of a fem trooper. does this mean they are cannon now. should they be ok in the 501st. like as a tx or something

yea but its like the same clip. i might have to buy the documentary its called Sea of Demons: Demonio Rojo (Giant Humboldt Squid). you can get it on amazon and stuff

i guess it doesnt "look" any more functional then ours but it certainly is. on this documentary sea of demons or something like that this guy made armor to protect himself from being atacked by the humboldt squid. it really protects him and guess who they modeled it after. thats right. take a close look at his yellow armor in this video ------------ . someone in my garrison told me about this. if anyone finds more info about it please let me know. i want to see the part of the documentary where he talks about making the armor (and there is one) . thats sooo cool

no it is asymetrical but i think cleaned up a little. if it looks different its might be because its probobly from a different original helmet as the normal acurate helmets as they (there were two supplied) were supplied by lukasfilm. alot of helmets in the movie look verry different from eachother.

i actually realy was rooting for rocco cause he is old. tiger has won to much. i really thought rocco had that won but tiger got a birdie on that hole even after screwing up. btw it is the first golf thing i have ever watched
