Much as I love my TM , a word of warning: The more return edge you leave the greater the number of cracks you wil develop. If your willing to regularly patch then leave as is, If not then I would strongly suggest removing the return to a bare minimum.

The armour in that pic is a fan based sculpt initiated in the late 90's. Back in the day it was pretty much the only kit available so the original sculpt ( of which this is no doubt a recast) sold in droves. Over the last ten years the accuracy of the kits available has risen immensley , as has the drop in price for most kits. The kit featured in the link is not only wildly innacurate but also of inferior quality judging by the pics. It would honestly be worth shelling out a few more hundred $'s and being happy with your purchase rather than paying bargain basement prices and recieving something you will be less than hapy with and will undoubtedly fork out several hundred more $'s to upgrade in the future.

Carefull mate. Not in the UK or atleast not to be on you at all times, and whilst not everyones cup of tea we do like to think of ourselves as atleast partialy civilised.

And if you bothered to read my posts I said nothing about this initially. I said : So you will note, I hope, that I in fact tried to avert this very discussion. However, to answer the "keep important belonging on him" problem: Simple. Give your valuables to your spotter/squire/handler at an event. If your daft enough to wear an expensive easily damaged costume that limits movement and visibility so much you would be hard pushed to react to any negativity /trouble/act of god/natural disaster befalling you then take a bright pink hand bag for all I care. Atleast that way you will stand out from the crowd.

Carbon fibre weave pre impregnated with resin. saves all the mess involed with resin iffusion methods. Even cleaner if you use a good surface film to provide a show finish.

As a UKG Armourer I concur. Tell Mark he is wrong and include as many pics to prove it as possible. if that fails bring it to Gary (89batman) or one of the cheif armourers ( cough Billhag) attention mate.
