I must agree, putting together a TK in one month, would be a very difficult to say the least, even if you have lots of time on your hands. Chances are even if you get it completed, it usually requires all kinds of adjustments before it fits properly ( at least mine did) The first time I wore mine it was agony. Kept digging into my neck and knee caps, I lasted about an hour and a half before I had to take it off.

Lookin great Kiel, fantastic work.

LOL, I was gonna mention, that I saw the movie last Friday, and my only quirk was the performance of Chris Pine, pretty much all the other actor stayed true to the personalities of the orginal cast (especially Macoy), except Chris Pine who seemed to off doing his own thing. Not that his performance was bad, it was'nt... I just would have prefered to see a little bit of William Shatner in his performance... just a bit of that old Captain Kirk magic.

This article was from today's Toronto Star... http://www.thestar.com/entertainment/movies/article/632151 .. its funny how the two franchises are constantly getting pitted against one another. I myself like both. I notice that this rivalry is getting more and more prominent every day, I'm not sure how to feel about that. I guess it's OK as long as nobody's feelings get hurt. I dont really agree with this article, the writer is forgetting that "The Clone Wars" was made primarily for a younger audience, and also the three Star Wars prequils are not as bad as he seems to suggest. The final part of the article seems to be correct, there does seem to be more Star Wars costumes than Trekie costumes at the Cons, but of course there are alot most costumes to choose from in Star Wars. Any thoughts on weather this rivalry is good or bad ???

I agree Laspector, the Island was very Logans Runish, with regards to the re-make, they've been planning it for the last 15 years but legal BS and other problems have constantly gotten in the way. The latest on the LR re-make, and this news is'nt exactly new... Sept 11, 2007 Commercial director Joseph Kosinski is in final negotiations to develop and direct "Tron," described as "the next chapter" of Disney's 1982 cult classic. Sean Bailey is producing via the Live Planet banner, as is Steven Lisberger, who co-wrote and directed the original film. Kosinski, who last month signed on to helm the remake of "Logan's Run" for Warner Bros. Pictures, will oversee the visual development of the project and have input on the script, which is being written by "Lost" scribes Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Story details are being kept secret.

LOL, I saw it in the theater... that corvette was actually owned my Mark Hammil, he apparently smashed it up, he totaled the car completely along with his face. That's why he looks so different in the second Star Wars (Empire) he had alot of plastic surgury...that's what I heard anyway.

Hey Scott, I'd usually fire it up for about 15 - 20 minute every second week, that should be sufficient to get ya through the winter. I miss those old muscle cars, they were so cool.

In case anyone has'nt guessed from my avitar I really like Logan's Run it has unfortunately been forgotten by many movie fans with the advent of Star Wars. Never the less it is an absolute master piece which I consider to be one of the best Science Fiction films of all time. Superbly acting by Michael York, Jenny Agutter and Peter Ustinov combined with academy award winning special effects made this movie one of the most memorable I've ever seen. I think I've watched it about a hundred times.

This is me ...

Arghhh!!!...Sorry Webshots is still kind of suspect when it comes to images sharing abilities, the developers still got some work to do if they wanna make the site reliable. I reloaded on trusty photobucket. I should be fine now.

Hey Daniel, take your armor to the Con in a hockey bag or something, find the 501st Legion set up ( they usually have one ) find some members, if possible the garrison leader or officers and introduce yourself, let them know you are here to hopefully join their ranks. Thats what I did last summer, they were very freindly and pointed me to a dressing room they had set aside for suiting up. ( They usually have a room reserved for them ) Once in the room there are usually a few people that can assist you in putting yer armor on. Good luck and have a great time.

I found this while rumaging through some of my old magazines and I though you all might find it interested. This is an article from Starlog published in June 1977. At the time of printing Star Wars had not yet been released into theaters. Things were still pretty hush hush about this new space film by 20th Century Fox. I love they way they called the Light Sabre, a laser sword and a laser sabre, and the concept paintings are pretty cool as well. One month later George would forever change the world and make my life a helluva lot more expensive, for 30 plus years I have endeviored every day to give George at least some of my paycheck ..enjoy... Note: if you find it difficult to read just copy it to a file on you computer and open it up, the printing will be sharp as a pin.

Steve Im not in the postal industry but my understanding of tracking numbers is this.... If you have a number it not only tracks when it landed in the UK but also were it landed and who signed for it. If you have confirmation of its arrival, then it is either sitting in customs or someone stole it. Either way the tracking number should help you trace it to the s dept at UK Post that is reponsible for it ( And I Do Mean Responsible ) . When you phone to make an inquirey they will most deffinatly give you the run around. Don't listen to their bullshucks, remeber you are likley talking to some type of CSR, demand to speak to a supervisor and insist that they retreive the package. I have a similar experiece about two years ago and all it really took was someone to actually get off there fat a-- and go into the back and look for it. I hope this helps.

RT Mod Helmet For Elite Status?

I too need to replace my grey lenses with green. -
I agree, I'd be nervous about carrying my money in it, but its still a pretty cool mod. If it's a tight seal you could always fill it with Jack Daniels. The Straw is of course optional.

I also bought mine off VaderDave.
