  1. Stormtroopers aren't cheap though. I've spent a good few $ on mine. Lol. Ben
  2. How many planets with billions of innocent people had to be destroyed before someone says the Death Star must go. It's built as a planet destroyer. Ben
  3. Things get done under a dictatorship because people are too scared To oppose. The destruction of Alderaan was an act of terrorism in it's most truest form. To incur fear and terror throughout the galaxy and make people bow to the empires rule or else have their own planet destroyed. Politics are about individuals being heard as no single vision works for all the populous. Yes sometimes politics hold things up but history has shown that dictatorship does not work.It creates unrest and insurgence ala the Rebel Alliance. No single person or government should have that power over the many.Ideology will not flourish and society won't advance under a dictatorship. In politics all the debating leads to a balanced compromise that appeals to all and not just one. Ben
  4. The empire is a dictatorship and that is bad. Just ask any country under dictatorship.

  6. Yeah your doing good by one group of people in one hand and then ripping others off in the other. Great way to justify your wrong doings mate. This will be my last post in here as its clear people will turn a blind eye to wrong doings as long as you rub certain people the right way.Doing a good thing for one group of people doesn't justify doing wrong to another group of people no matter how you see them. But you just keep telling yourself that.
  7. About 2000 to 2003 were great years. I joined the RPF at the start of 2002 but was around a couple of years before that. Enough time to see the hobby change into what it is today. I still love the hobby esp with EFX producing what they are. But certain groups don't understand what they've ruined and theres a lot not offered because of it.
  8. I'm glad I have certain helmets in my collection from back in the day when there was honour in this hobby. Some are that rare only a couple of people know about them.I have these helmets in my collection because back in the early days of this hobby there wasn't the threat of rampant recasting. Whether you like the recast argument or not has nothing to do with it. Recasting hurts this hobby and stops people offering very rare pieces for people's collections because of the threat. You have no idea what hasn't been offered because of this. Many true replicas will not see the light of day because of these attitude. Your not paying people because they have the copyrights but because THEY took the risk to pull an original apart or spent countless hours sculpting with thier insane talents. And that is a massive risk. Ben
  9. Yes we do but it doesn't mean it should be an open market to recast because of it.People could just go to TE and ask to recast. He says yes and then according to everybody that's ok to just go ahead and recast. Its not because he lost the rights many moon ago.I mean just look at this helmet. It looks about 10 generations away from the original. If I put some of my helmets next to it would make them look like night and day in comparison.
  10. Personally I can never understand how there is so many legit sellers of the Brian R/TE helmet as the rights were sold to Gino and GF so many years ago.It annoys me that there is so many recasts based on TE selling his right over and over and recasters giving rights away they don't even have to start with. Cheap knock offs is all they are and if you buy them you get what you pay for.
  11. Really good comparisons. One thing though. On the forearm and biceps pic you have the left arm for the TM and AP but the right arm for the RS. As RS had no original left parts maybe do a comparison of all right arm parts. Great pic anyways. Ben
  12. It takes a lot of practice before you get the ears right. But once you've done a few it will come naturally. They are easily the hardest part of the helmet.Gaps are a big part of how many originals look so they are fine.
  13. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it appears your ear pieces are on the wrong sides.Easy mistake when your just starting off though.Apart from that your build looks great.your dog looks cute too. Ben
  14. I think the guys are a bit snowed under. I had a problem that Rob was quick to reply to the other week. Send em a mail to make sure your still in the loop. I sort of feel for them as they seem to want to please everybody but at the end of the day they are only 2 blokes and can only get so much done. They sure are doin a great job though. Nice helmet!!!
  15. I dont think Brian has been back to see your questions otherwise he would of answered.Brian Muir sculpted the original armor, period. AA is completely talentless when it comes to Sculpting. I mean show me something awesome that AA has sculpted. You can't. Brian on the other hand has countless portfolio references of his sculptures. He is hugely talented. AA is a glorified vac former that's it. If you can't be convinced just trust us and except it. I have no doubt that Liz sculpted the helmet as well. I mean again show me something that Nick Pemberton has sculpted. he is as talentless as AA.Liz on the other hand also has a big portfolio. It's not rocket science. Trust me we've all been there and trusted AA and been burnt. Dont fall for it yourself.
  16. Yes 2 right arms on this original suit. I'd say a fair few in the movie were like that as they were just thrown together. Better than a fan sculpted left one though.
  17. You're definetly too used to ROTJ based fan armor. I think it looks wicked cool .Personally I'd love an untrimmed suit just like the original parts are with all that warping and stuff present and not corrected. But I'm probably a minority.most issues are just assembly and trimming. The forearms are correct to ANH as most fan suits are ROTJ based or fan sculpted as the original ROTJ suit which was cast only had one arm present and TE made a hugely fat fan sculpt for the other side. No huge fat forearms in ANH.Those shoulder bells are making me drool. The only ones I've seen close to that look is the TM which is a testament to his own sculpting skill. You've done a wonderful job Rob and Si and I hope you listen to TM as he will make sure things are nothing but perfect. Ben
  18. They were rotj copies made specifically for the SE and subsequent tours for the SE promotions. There's a couple of pics of the guys at LFL makeing them. I'm sure it was on the Making Magic cd that came with the old Yoda Stories pc game years ago. I'm pretty sure some parts may have been cleaned up/altered as well but not too sure on that one. Ben

Please don`t take this the wrong way as I don`t mean to be rude,But you really have no idea what these pics are. These pics are what trooper fans have dreamed of for years and definetly not something of the caliber LFL have ever released or ever will for that matter.Nothing in these pics have been seen before and were taken personally by Matt.I`m definetly in for one of these and trust me,if your a stormtrooper fan YOU want one as well.Don`t say I never told you so. Ben
  21. The way I read it was that the original ANH helmet molds which are the only ones to touch the inside of Matts first helmet were returned to Matt ,which they were and are now in the possesion of Guns and that you have the original ROTJ suit molds. It was never denied that you have those molds just not the original ANH helmet molds.
