  1. Ever hear of The Amazing Goop? It's strong as Donkey Kong, but if you need to remove it, you can peel it off.
  2. I don't know why some kits offer them in blue, but they are black. What should be blue are the tube stripes.
  3. Put some velcro on the back plate where you want the belt to rest, and also, put velcro on the interior of the armour to bridge the abdomen and back. I'm thin like you are and have made those mods, I have never had a problem.
  4. What are you guys talking about? Novus Polish gets paint drips off of the ABS, and it can even remove sharpie if you need it to.
  5. You could probably take some white filler or some kind of silicone caulking, put fill the scratch with it, then use novus to polish all around it.
  6. Hah, that's the first time I've ever seen an FX Stormtrooper that wasn't trimmed!
  7. If you have the opportunity to get the MR, go for it.
  8. Good idea with the masking tape. I used Electrical Tape when trimming my Boba armour, it bends nicely like a decal. The masking tape goes on straight though, which works well in your situation.
  9. Question, do the ABS strips come with the AP suit? Or did you have to get them elsewhere?
  10. The real reason Stormtroopers can't aim, is because the scope on our little E-11s are so useless.
  11. I'm 5'9" 125lbs! I also plan to get the AP suit too. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take to arrive once sending payment? I plan to order mine in about a month or two Good luck on your suit!!
  12. My FX started cracking after the first year of trooping. Almost year 3, and it's pretty much unwearable. Apparently mine was a "bad batch" of plastic, however, it was enough to spoil FX for me permanently.
  13. I bought a cheap wallet from Wal-Mart, and velcroed it inside of my bucket.
  14. Did you ever have any problems with them coming off or loose?
  15. What kind of thread did you use to sew them on? I'd be afraid of it tearing the string or the gloves.
  16. From reading on TK-300's website, he mentions that the ESB Gloves were made of silk, with the hand plates sewn on. I know that the handplates being sewn on is under no debates, but I was wondering about the validity of the gloves being silk? Hearing they are made of silk makes me glad that they aren't rubber, like in ANH, but I'd love to have the real material for my ESB Elite in the upcoming months. Searching around online, I have found this glove supplier, the silk gloves have a ribbed cuff, and are fairy cheap too. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions on these three! ---------- Seirus Arctic Silk Glove Liner --------- Thanks, Andy TK-1287
  17. Those look awesome About how many hours do you put into them?
  18. Both of the videos were great. I'm looking forward to seeing the AT-AT helmet video
  19. Usually the story goes that you'll just stick out like a sore thumb, and the FX kits look more professional. I'm glad people have been ignoring his advice and upgrading on their own though.
  20. I use foam padding in my Boba Fett bucket, couldn't do better than that. I have an FX kit with an FX bucket, and the regular head liner is still in there. I'll take the Foam Padding any day of the week though. When I get my new Stormtrooper suit and bucket, I'll definitely go directly towards padding.
  21. Yeah, my garrison commander really discourages upgrading to better suits and helmets. Thanks to the affordable MRCEs, about 1/4rd of our active stormtroopers have all ready converted to those. I plan to be the first trooper in the state with an accurate suit of armour.
  22. The British Accent makes the video so much better.
  23. Well those are E-11s they are holding. I don't know how you would attach the blaster to your side without having a holster. I'd have to say that it was just one of the CG Freedoms that don't work out in real life. I suppose there could be some sort of clip there to hold it in place.
  24. That is one funky lookin' Tusken.
