RS Prop master Stunt helmet head bump
Turrican replied to gtech's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Well RS has a "cleanup Version" .It's without the bumps in the chin area. With this you could make a complete clean up version of a Stunt helmet. Just sand the complete surface, fill it and paint it white. -
RS Prop master Stunt helmet head bump
Turrican replied to gtech's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Cause of the fact that they first tried to make those suits on the elstree studios , i would not say that AA has made the moulds himself.Would more say he only made the work ,cause the machines on the elstree studios were damaged or not able to pull them. As far was we know. That i would agree. It's the typical look of the stormtrooper helmets.Otherwise you could buy a MR"EFX AnH Limited , for exampel. Yes it is and they are also on the Move Along Trooper helmet. The dent on the chin/mouth is also on the RS original helmet as on the SFS and MAT.So i belive it's on all helmets the same. MAT = ------- = SFS: ------- RS orginal: = ( hope i can use that pic as reference, if not let me know and i remove it) ( But the dent on the Chin /mouth is not on the RS replica helmet, well not on the one that i have, cleanup maybe?) -

Where, What and Whom To Avoid When Buying
Turrican replied to RogueTrooper's topic in Getting Started - Read this First!

What does argentina-worldwide-custom-props , recast? He does his leatherstuff by himself and the hardparts for his Vader stuff are portumac or GT parts. Than you also could write RS Props in that list , cause he recast a real stormtrooper suit.lol. -

TK boots feel a bit loose
Turrican replied to bigtrev503's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Sorry for to answer so late on your question. With insoles i mean foot orthotics. I have to wear them in all my boots. And they fit also very nice in my TK boots. Without them , my TK boots were also a little bit to wide. But not so much on the ankle as yours.Maybe it's a manufacturing error. -
TK boots feel a bit loose
Turrican replied to bigtrev503's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Had the same with my new ones, not so much as you , but they were also too wide at the ankle for my taste. I have size 10 and wear insoles. -
Also have seen them since a while on ebay and thought me the same as you Mark. The grappling hook looks quite close to this one : http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=8449&hl=grapling+hook&fromsearch=1 The ones on the RPF are the one form Russrep if i'm right. He made a run there in past.

The new and improved TK BOOTS
Turrican replied to SW1's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Also ordered some of the new style TK boot's. I think i will grind the sole a bit thinner. Hope they will fit in the shins on my TM armor. The real leather boots i dyed did not very well. -
That's simply jaw dropping. No words for this awesome work...

Original and Replica Prop Stormtrooper Belt
Turrican replied to RS Prop Masters's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
I would more gues it was a real world found part. The budged for AnH was very low. And i see not realy any sense in it to make a 5 layer belt out of different materials for , how much?, 30 costumes. Too much work to cut out all those stripes and sew them togehter that they look all the same. But nonetheless a nice replica from the original belt, RS has done there. -
Requesting Denix to do the L2A3
Turrican replied to moonwalker's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
That was it what i want to know, thx!! Exactly , i know. But you have to show the customs that you are allowed to have this Weapons, cause of this "Anscheinswaffen"/"Gun lookalike" para. Well you have to prove that you a have a demand for them. Maybe a less problem cause the seller is in the EU ( so maybe no customs) and cause a member of the 501st could appoint the 3. passage of § 42 here in Germany. http://www.buzer.de/...162/a154423.htm -
Requesting Denix to do the L2A3
Turrican replied to moonwalker's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Does sell there weapons with a certifacte? In germany you need a certificate that it's an unusable weapon after the KWKG -War Weapons Control Act , cause it's a weapon of war. If they don't, i not want to see the face of the customs officer. -
That's cool. Looking forward to them.
