  1. That sounds scary. The armor flexes some from use, so I'd be sure to use something that had some give to it. I've also heard that abs is not very paint friendly.
  2. don't drill out that last one.
  3. GF's aerators were faucet type as well. My two GF's are signed on the inside of the helmets and chest armor. However, these were pre-assembled helmets and trimmed armor. Maybe he only signed those? GF helmets have a very pin-headed look to them.
  4. Here is a pic of two GF helmets finished by GF himself. I've only seen GF heroes with the bubble lenses, I don't know how many stunts he did. My GF didn't come with any strips for the thighs/arms either. This got me to thinking. How can you tell an AP from a GF now? If the molds are the same and all.
  5. The low number of fx helmets is refreshing. Not that there's anything wrong with an fx helmet...
  6. Total coolness going on there!
  7. Looking good! Workin up a sweat I see. I'd raise the drop boxes some. The buttons look great. About the helmet, it does have a hero look about it mainly due to the low brow. I was going to suggest that you repaint the frown, but I see that you've cut out enough holes for a stunt. What you could do is take the rubber brow off, gently cut off some of the edge of the cap to raise it and put the rubber trim back on. It doesn't have to be a super clean cut because the trim is gonna cover it anyway. Then ditch the bubble lenses and go for dark green acetate. You'll look the part and your eyes will love you for it.
  8. What kept your blade from goin all wavy on you when you scored the plastic? I can't cut a straight line to save my life.
  9. I assumed they hung from the same snap/bolt/connector that is hidden by the end caps on the belt.
  10. Don't know the official answer, but mine are so close to the belt, no strapping material shows.
  11. AND WEAR EYE PROTECTION!
  12. The MG was also used by a TK searching the Falcon.
  13. Dude that sucks. I would have been furious!
  14. Sometimes when people get rowdy, it helps to take the helmet off to let them know that you are human.
  15. the word 'silicone' just sounded cool. They'd be all jiggly if they were silicone.
  16. They used silicone rubber for the handguards.
  17. I think it is a combination of long arms and the forearm piece being shoved up really high.
  18. I saw that in the book. And both troopers appear to have the unusually long arms. I just don't understand that photo. Was one trooper a projection? Who knows? I do know that the book is being revised due to false info in it.
  19. why does the photograph show two tk's?
  20. I think the color looks pretty darn good.
  21. sometimes priceless nuggets of information are gleaned from the off-topic spiral
  22. It has four cut-out slots on his right side and four cut out on the left with a slight indentation last that isn't cut out.
  23. I'll check when I get home tonight.
