Wow….. how would of thought that memory was so fragile: George Lucas addressing Congress in 1988, to protest the then-popular trend of colorizing old black-and-white movies: People who alter or destroy works of art and our cultural heritage for profit or as an exercise of power are barbarians, and if the laws of the United States continue to condone this behavior, history will surely classify us as a barbaric society. In the future it will become even easier for old negatives to become lost and be “replaced” by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten. Attention should be paid to this question of our soul, and not simply to accounting procedures. Attention should be paid to the interest of those who are yet unborn, who should be able to see this generation as it saw itself, and the past generation as it saw itself.

How do I measure myself for armor?
TK-2126_MD replied to cajoco97's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Ya Cant really add any thing to what Terry said, but i would suggest that u hook up with local 501st in your area. there is always a armor party u can go to and see and test fit different armors there and get a feel for what seems right to u and what suggestions u get. Second thing is to relax ( as hard as that sounds ) and do as much research as u can about all the things u will need. might as well aim high and go Centurion from the get go. -
Its good to be FISD!!! thx to the command staff for pointing north for us ( Past and Present)!!! is pleased!

Wonderful synopsis of the different stage that the body goes through!!!! If u don’t have any medical back ground my hat is off!!!!! The only thing I would add to make this complete ( plz forgive my audacity) is the following : Butyric Stage ("The Fermentation Stage") and the “Saponification stage” or adipocere Both stage are or can be identified as different stages but happen at the same time, bieng the Butyric the first inical phase were fatty tissues start break down with other tissues with the help of Bacteria. “Saponification stage” or adipocere This is the stage of hydrolysis of body Fat, as u stated this stage is not as smell but has its characteristic cheese like aroma. This happens as the adipose or fatty tissue enters a adipocere phase. this is after other body tissues have decayed only leaving fatty tissue. this stage is caracterised by the conversion of the fat of a corpse into adipocere, produces glycerol often called "grave wax." This Glicerol has been know to actually cure and preserve the wood of the coffins. Making it some of the best “natural” wood protector around. Through archeological digs, wooden coffins that were made as early as 1750 have been preserved with virtually no decay!!!!! Butyric Stage = other tissues & Fatty tissues start to decay Saponification stage = Fatty tissues finish decaying, other tissues have finished or are about to finish decaying Both of theses happen together but at different times. Once again one of the best synopsis I have come across in a good while!!!

Feliz Cumpleaños!!!! Birthday wishes from us at OutPost Bolivia!!! May Palpatine smile down at u this day, and my he forget who u are as quickly as he is pleasant. As not to incur in his wrath. If it pleases him may he allow u to live a long life for the glory of the Empire by serving it as u have done. May u have a wonderful day with family and friends and we will try to save u some cake from the mess hall when u return to the barracks.

Snap Problem: not staying snapped
TK-2126_MD replied to Jorran's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
YES!!!! 2 snaps This is most likely the problem yep get a good snap tool a pro one i have a industral one that is a lever system Bench top i think they call it this is what is probabliy the best bet ,as not to wreck the armor WHen it comes to snaps it is best to get the heavy duty one, regradless of the maker. if all your snaps are a problem then u need to check the following: stress they are bearing or they might be cheap ones. that were assembled wrong if its only one or two ,best bet is that they are the one or two lemons in the pack. use more then one snap bench press system i have been usieng and putting snaps on just about everything i own and can get snaps into ( i luv my snaps) if they are already glued i would re do the other/opposite snap first ( the one that isnt glued on) if the new doesnt work then the glued one is the problem and add a new one on top ,below or of to the side of it. -
