Hello Brad! Amazing that you finally feel that you have the time to spend on this wonderfully niched and oh so aweosme hobby! I remember the feeling myself, when it was finally time to take the step towards realizing the dream of becoming a TK! How's everything going in your hunt for a TK? From my own personal experience, I got a commission from RS Prop Masters and if you want to build the kit yourself, I would consider them value for money! (+ you wouldn't have to wait as long) Their customer service is great and I even got sent some extra pieces of ABS plastic free of charge so that I could make ABS paste and so on! The time on recieving a pre built kit is about 12 weeks at the moment (that is how long I had to wait for at least) and I got my suit in the beginning of August 2022. You are certainly a good size for their armor, and if it is screen accuracy you want it is a very good kit since it is casted off of one of the owners' own screen used ANH suit! Is it an ANH suit that you want to get first?

What are some of your coolest/prized Star Wars possessions when it comes to things or collectibles in general? I have a bunch of things! Amongst everything on my shelves I have a Boba Fett toy from 1979 and the the LEGO BrickHeadz Boba and Han in Carbonite from New York Comic Con. (I have all the BrickHeadz spread out all over my apartment because there are too many ) Now, on to the coolest ones! First then, a signed limited print from Anton Grandert who I have had the pleasure of getting to know lately! He is a concept artist at Lucasfilm and works directly under Doug Chiang, and we have amongst other things talked a bit about some important Stormtrooper details! Last but not least, a signed Ralph McQuarrie lithograph of his concept art for ESB, and along with this, a frame from the master 70mm original film! In my frame I have the frame just when Wedge says the "P" in "Activate har"P"oon! These don't go for a fortune at the moment on eBay so may as well get one now when you can! What are some of your things that lift up your homes, souls and spirits?

It could also possibly eliminate the need of filling in any gap in higher approvals later on! Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable.

Welcome Philip! I had to wait 12 months for my RS kit too, it was tough time just waiting! What you can do is to gather supplies and tools and maybe some colors (Humbrol Enamel Satin 85, Humbrol Enamel Gloss 5, Humbrol Enamel Matte 109) and stuff so you are ready to begin making adjustments as you need them! I also just browsed a lot of Expert Infantry and Centurion status request threads while waiting The suit from RS is usually a straight pass into the 501st and there shouldn't be any problems! If you have any problems however - welcome to the FISD, you are in the right place for questions! Do you plan on reaching the higher level of requirements such as Expert Infantry and Centurion?
