@Tall_Trooper this last one is for you

Any chance you're willing to share? Absolutely evil April's Fools, this forum just wouldn't be the same without you @Daetrin!

Honestly, that one depends on the type of troop and Garrison. Some Garrisons average 3 hour troops, others 6 hours. Personally, I've had everything between half an hour in armor to 11 hours in armor. If you do end up with longer times in armor, make sure to prepare by drinking a lot of water the previous day and keeping some accessible snacks and water ready

I've had a similar problem and added ABS tabs to my kidney plate. By having them slide into my ab plate, it forces the kidney plate to bend and align with the ab plate. Might be useful for you as well. I've got a closer look at the whole system in my build thread, if you want to take a look

In case anyone here is curious and wants to take a look: here is a link. Enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who sent me pictures! I'll be sharing the post within the next couple days. This thread is now locked, see y'all for the next picture request-- or over in the meme thread

I went with a low budget version! The ID plate is 3D printed and the troop count is simply drawn on with permanent marker. A great way to keep track of troops and a wonderful conversation starter!

Hello Troopers! It is once again June and this means that we're celebrating Pride Month across the Legion, globe and galaxy (far, far away and very much nearby). For us at FISD this means that we're looking for your pictures! As an ally with a rainbow painted onto your armor or as a member of the LGBTQ+ community showing off your flag -- everyone is invited to send us your pictures celebrating Pride and diversity as troopers! If you've got some cool pictures of yourself or your fellow troopers (with their permission, of course) that we can share this month, please send your pictures either directly to me ( @Morgi ) or to our email instagram @ whitearmor . net ... without the spaces, of course! Make sure to add your TK-number(s) and Garrison(s), so we can credit you! If you want us to share your picture anonymously, please let us know and we can do that. Since we'll have to prepare the post, make sure to send your pictures until June 14th. Your two weeks start now We're looking forward to many cool pictures! Happy Pride, everyone!

Looks like I'm TOO SKINNY for one manufacturer....HELP!
Morgi replied to Aftercrash's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Hi, maybe I can help! I was in the same situation whilst building my armor, here's how I did it. I built a slider system which basically locked the armor into place. Usually padding (like Glen said) works just fine, but if you're a lot skinnier than the armor, even 10cm foam pads don't cut it anymore. Making sure to have a good final appearance was key for me, so I went with the aforementioned sliders. Additionally you'll see an extra strap in the section below on how I make sure my armor stays in place with this adjusted strapping. You can find some general tips on how to size your armor if you're skinny in this thread. Feel free to reach out if you've got any questions and good luck!
