  1. Thanks Jess! I'm ok. In fact, I'm really calm and relaxed. I just want to make sure everyone get what they paid for. Besides, a couple of orders gone wrong isnt that bad for 400+ sold. I guess this is the only and professional thing to do. AND I really want to keep my title. :-)
  2. Thanks Gaz. I do have the molds almost ready for my US sellers. But I need a little more time and funds to mail them away. I want also to clear everything on my side before. At the moment, all my time and money goes into refunds and replacement.
  3. I have been selling hand guards here for over 2 and a half years. Never had any problems. Never lost a single package.Until last Semptember. For the last 6 weeks, there is chaos: a coupleare overdue/ probably lost ( Skandinavia), other people (US) got ripped open packages with the gloves missing. For my life, I dont know why :-( Although I will def. lose money, it is my responibility that you all get your items which you all paid hard earned cash for. I already started producing replacements. In order to resolve this, I need your help. If you are missing or still waiting for your order, please send me an email to karin 25 (at) gmx.net (remove spaces), Regardless if we already talked about this via pm it should contain: your screen name/ real name your exact order (hero/ stunt, latex or rubber, glued or not, glove size) When you made payment if you'd rather like a refund or replacement your shipping address. Sincerely, Karin
  4. CONGRATS STEVE ON YOUR 1000TH post! Hurray! I think it is because of the smart phones that folks have just forgotten. You can't see them with smart phones.
  5. My sincerest condolences, Mark!
  6. Well, I'd just recast my regular guards 2-3 times with clean ups in between. That should shrink them about 25%. They wont be for sale on a regular basis, just for Leo and some other kids.
  7. Cute! If you tell me the size of the hand guards, I'll try to make some mini latex hand guards!
  8. How do you come to that conclusion? Of course they were found items. But until we find them, we will have to replicate as close as possible.
  9. Close to what I am thinking, but a little rounder and with less undercuts. Such undercuts would make it difficult to get out of a mold. Too bad I have almost zero drawing talent Guys, we are at the right track now!
  10. why madness? this is quite common in europe. Some folks put in some thin screen only in summer, but only to keep insects out.
  11. Yes! exactly! I guess I have to look up the meaning of "hollow" again. Lol
  12. That's what I have been thinking Paul! no hard ribs, but hollow. I am missing the correct vocabulary, but as I said before, I think they are almost shaped like a sinus wave. I think I just had an idea to speed things up. Thanks everybody!
  13. Maybe they wore flat lenses in the forrest because they couldn't see a damn thing (like you, Rich). On the death star, they only stood like on a pararde (okay, it was a parade)no need to see anything
  14. Look at the back of his neck, Those "ribs" look almost exactly as we know from this Maybe the seal brom the BTS pics is already a little worn out? Also, they look wide enough to pull them over your head and put it on your chin like this guy on the right I'd make them a little more "cleaned up", but you can see at least the "structure" in the recent pic. No, you don't disencourage me, Juan, not at all. The more opinions, the better!
  15. You got a point there, Juan. I agree serveral versions were used (like hand guards) But we can only go screen accurate from what we SEE, not ASSUME. As I said before, a seal like in this pic is NOW easy to make for me.
  16. Okay, I'm convinced now. I starred at this pic for over an hour If the ribs/folds are that soft/sloppy I can whip up one proto within hours LOL. So far, I ve been working precisly with calipers and such, casting up ribs with mirror like shiny surface, etc... Ma, those bluray thingies DO help a lot! Any many thanks for Mason for doing this!
  17. I guess your right. But no defined ribs; more like folds.
  18. Yes, but with only 6 teeth cut out. Hence the confusion?
  19. Yes, this IS quite intereting. Thanks! Don't know what to make of it, though. Sure doesn't look like latex. Maybe the same fabric like the hero ones, with lesser ribs. A third kind perhaps?
  20. Please Jack, do not apologize. There is no need. Not at all! I still need to learn a lot, and being on this board really helps a lot. I think the ribs are not solid, but hollow. Thus they are stretched and/ or crushed, resulting in different sizes. Once I have a sample ready I can demonstrate my theory. In the meantime, I encourage everyone to share their thoughts! Let us decipher this last piece of the puzzle together!
  21. I have some hi res versions of this pics. I post them later. It is my limted english which prevents me from understanding certail parts. Lol. Thanks again for everyone's input!
  22. I dont think they put 10x56 tubes on some neck seals. Way to much work. Besides, I have a profile pic of the ribs. They are neither half round nor round. Almost like a sinus curve. I will post it later. Man, I really do need blueray caps.
